Share Location with “Jitter”
When sharing location it is ridiculously easy to superimpose Grindr map over Google maps and derive the users address - from there someone like me can discover all sorts of info. Hell, I can discover you have a hot brother in-law - get his VIN from there license plate and from there track him via highway cam. (No joke).
Also a lot of people share location instead is just saying an intersection or neighborhood. So I propose when sharing location you have the option of adding distance jitter. Add x feet, Nearest intersection, 1/4 mile closer or further (line of…

Make the received pictures viewable by tapping
Please consider making it so that we don't have to see received pictures unless we want to. This feature would be like Instagram's photo sent in DM, you would have to tap it to see. It doesn't have to be a disappearing picture on Gridnr, meaning once you view it, it would still remain in the chat. But please consider making it so that one would have to tap the message to see the picture, like "Picture received. Tap to view." Back arrow! ****k it’s annoying!
PLEASE for the love of god fix the back arrow - you cant swipe back. Arrow is only way out. You have to hit the exact pinpoint of the arrow otherwise you enlarge the photo. Then have to reset it to get arrow back. Seriously. It’s ridiculous.

Be able to speak with Grindr Reps
2 weeks ago another person verbally attacked me saying I was going to get what I deserved “you old fucking faggot”! Then he said “you’re a dead man”. He was 4 miles away and his profile header was J and he was 24 I think. I think he blocked me because he and the comments disappeared. Remove profile promoting OnlyFans
Recently I have experienced a large influx of profiles and messages that are promoting Onlyfans accounts. This is making it harder to use the app for its intended purpose, finding “meaningful connections” 😆
I also think that OF people are exploiting Grindr users, sometimes promising them S E X in exchange for subscribing, which is obviously not true. Sometimes they even put this on their profile.
Over the last year, I’ve seen onlyfans accounts on Grindr becoming very popular.

Remove fake and spam profiles
It's ridiculous that you can report profiles that are fake and send links to go to this site but yet nothing gets done about it. What's the use of having a reporting system for this if you don't do anything about it. This app has gone down hill so badly that it deters people from actually using it. Get it together Grindr

I work in high performance computing and AI. It doesn't take a human to quickly recognize multiple profiles with the same photos, same bio text, and all created around the same time. No human required. You need to step up your spam account game. I spend about 50% of my time on this app reporting fake accounts. I'm not going to keep paying for this app at the ridiculous price of $28/week if I'm doing your job for you. My hourly rate at my place of work with benefits is over $225/hour. Stop trying to force us to subscribe to Unlimited!
I’ve been an Xtra subscriber for almost 10 years and I feel offended by the features you’ve been taking away just to push us into Unlimited. Now the ability to talk to people in other locations is limited too? How come I can only talk to 5 people in Explore? And why does the age filter now require at least a 5-year gap between minimum and maximum age? We can’t even block anymore? And this new Favorites button is awful!

Ethnicity Filter

I want my favorites back (and findable)!
Recently Grindr has changed the access to favorites and notes by making favorites a filter with a maximum for free users. A huge handicap and a reason to use the app a lot less. Not nice!

A little less adds
I'm having to watch an add almost every time after I messages some one and back out the chat. Watch one when I view someone's profile. Sometimes i have to watch one when i first open the app. Its getting ridiculous. And maybe get better ones. Ones that pertain to grindr or similar too. Maybe even just give the option to pay for no adds and nothing else. Cause at this point I would.
