Paid user shouldn’t have adverts
Paid members should not be seeing adverts after they paid not to. Worse again they should not be seeing advertisements from artists, companies, health services or even Grindr themselves. The only exception to this should be and advertisement to say locally to the user (geolocation) a new vaccine has been released or serious outbreak has been identified. We pay for no advertisements, we do not want advertisements forced down our necks ESPECIALLY Madonna who’s only using gays for a payday, it’s a shameless collaboration. Why are there so many adds with grindr unlimited?!?! Stop it.

Get rid of edge
GET RID OF EDGE, I pay to be a member to avoid all ads yours included. All you cunts want is money money money from us, you take shit away an then try and give it back but charge us for it. ITS TIME GRINDR WAS REPLACED.

Add a filter "looking for age group"
I am a 48 year old looking for young 18+ guys. I want a filter that would show me young guys looking for my approx age. So in profile description if you add "looking for age group" 18-25, 26-30, 31-35 so on and so forth. It would be easier to find my type of guys rather than randomly asking all the young guys "interested in uncles?"

We need to be able to filter by race some of us only like one race. I am one of them that only gets on here to find Black men to service... Please do not show my private information like my name or email on this post.....

Idea for avoiding spam accounts
The mass of spam accounts with tapping on users profiles is really really annoying!!
Here is a concrete idea for avoiding this:
Delete the fields for Social media links, or at least delete it for free accounts.
No spammer will pay for an account - esp. bc he doesn't want to disclose his payment details.13 votes -
Profile pics
Could it be possible to have a feature that anyone who does not have a profile pic not be able to message you. I don’t want someone who has a landscape pic or some random pic messaging me. It’s a waste of time. It’s dumb to hear someone say “sorry I’m DL I don’t send pics” NP no chat should be a feature you can turn on to block users who will not send a headshot or a pics of who they are. Or maybe have it as a filter.

Distance filter
PLEASE add a distance filter, roaming doesn't work, Im sorry but someone 325 miles away from me should not be considered "near" me, a distance filter would solve this, I only see people in different states most of the time.

Ads
Several companies have slowed their ad countdown way down to make the “5 seconds” last closer 10. Even the 30 second ads end up being longer. There’s no reason to have that many pop up ads with all the banner ads already there. It’s just greed, and I will not watch any ad through. I encourage others to do the same.

AI prompt every time I use the app
Stop prompting to accept Grindr using my personal information for AI.

Literally forcing us to receive a message first before we can block someone is the worst idea they’ve ever had!!!

Taps
Bring back free taps – at least the ones of the last day. I wake up and see I got taps after I went offline – but I can't see them?!
You might make older taps unlockable by making me watch an ad or sth but don't hide them completely! They should stay unlocked when I watch an ad btw., don't hide them again 😉

Get rid of For You
*for You, isn't making recommendations based on my usage of the app and the profiles I look at or communicate with.
I'm fact, the *For You *feature** is pushing profiles to me that appear to be exactly like the ones I block on a daily basis.

Remove for you. It's use
This option is a total annoyance. We should have the option to opt out and not see this grid. Not only is everyone offline - the grid shows for you people who aren't too far away and more importantly - not part of my choice of tast. Same as boost.
As a paying member - we should have option to opt out. The app is pushing me too spend more time on sniffies... And a lot of my buddies are saying the same thing. Listen to your paying members... Simplicity. Proximity and no one needs to be seeing the unwrapped…13 votes -
BLOQUEAR
¿Porqué ahora en vez de "bloquear" da opción "ocultar"? Ya no se puede bloquear a alguien. Se selecciona "ocultar" y ni se oculta, sigue ahí el perfil de la persona con la que no se desea interactuar o ver.
