1. Get rid of all the fake trans profiles to make this app usable.

   Hard to find anyone when 5/11 profiles are obviously fake and not removed after they have been reported. I would volunteer to work for free to remove them. When the same girl’s pic is used on 10+ profiles within a matter of days, you have a problem.

3. Free accounts don’t get ads when messaging premium accounts

   When a free account clicks on a premium profile, the free account doesn’t receive ad pop-ups. This would enhance conversions for premium users and improve the overall app experience.

5. Free User Updates

   1) Work on the geolocation settings (i.e. allowing a set mileage radius and fix the grid to populate like it used to by distance)
   2) Reward users for reporting spam/bot accounts.
   3) Add a moderation option for reporting blackmailers
   4) Some form of verification to reduce/eliminate bots/spam

6. Adding filter for visitors/non visitors...

   hanks for the airplane tag that allows you to identify passing visitors...
   but...
   It would be great to be able to filter to see only them, or especially in my case, not to see them...
   I live in a tourist area and I sometimes like to look for locals to consider a regular relationship and not a one-time thing...

7. Did you forget or never know at all.

   This has gotten so bad. There are more perfect looking trans profiles than men on here and they aren't even real this is small community where most people know each other and the Trans profiles are not real. This was a platform for gay and bi men nothing wrong with that. There are platforms out there for trans straight and lesbian people they should use those. Also the fake Only Fans profiles get rid of them they are soliciting for another website I don't even understand why you love that. It's to the point this isn't even fun anymore. And honestly it's a safety and privacy risk. There are more fake profiles and then profiles that should not be here for one reason or another that it very difficult for gay/bi men to find other men. I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Look what happened to gay.com grindr. They alienated their client base by making you pay to send messages and went out of business within months fix it or I hope the same happens to you and it probably will. Only in this case it will be the best thing for the gay/bi community. I have nothing against trans people or women or straight people but it's not what this was intended for and it's inappropriate for our platform to be taken over like this. There are platforms for all types of people depending on what your looking for. It would not be right for us to hi Jack one of their platforms and it isn't right that ours is being taken over like this either.

   Lots of profiles who send you site links with unsure safety and probability of being scam or virus.
   Fake profiles of "sugar daddies" that would like to spoil you and ask you for your telegram (Which is connected with your phone number, scary)

   Not sure if the person you are talking to is real, actually lgbt, actually the age they added

   Being sure with who you are talking to just with a video verification that lots of other dating apps uses is mandatory

   Taking a picture on the Grindr app isn't a solution, since people would like to have creativity on their pictures and show some things they like

   Profile verification and age verification is needed, not wanted

    Hello, I would like to report a serious privacy security issue with the albums. I have noticed that when an album is viewed through the web app in a browser, it can easily be screenshotted and the image can be stolen. I urge you to address and fix this bug as soon as possible, given the severity of this privacy vulnerability.

    Ive been having cisgender men threatening my life, telling me that they would rape me and kill me and the rise of transphobia is not helping. Grindr stop protecting murders! 18. Fix the Grindr Camera - allow for date watermarking, 100% of pictures snapped in app are saved to your photos with the watermark

    The camera in the GrindR app often does not function, you take a great photo want to slap the watermark on it and send it to prove you're human and you are actually sexy. 90% of the time the camera snaps then after a delay it closes out of the camera function in app where you lose the image!!!!! This is incredibly frustrating as easiest way to prevent impersonation is to fix the camera in app and set the standard in community behavior for profile pictures to include a recent grinder water mark, if you want to verify someone identity literally just get them to snap a picture in one second first try (fix the camera and remove many ads that never even load client side but cause the free version of the app to not function and lag (likely by playing it and charging avertiser though user never sees it because the free version of the app has so many problems, go premium iots fixed.... bullshit) then slap todays date in the official watermark on it, grindr approved catfish and person verificati
    on, no filters allowed.

    Its easy to fix this application, though the freeware design incentivized you to buy premium or watch plenty of adds, its obvious yet these absolute imbeciles make suggestions as if nobody else is aware of this and it should change, everybody knows what they are doiing and why? This is suggestion number 10k+ buried with some drugged up mentally handicapped porn addicts suggestion that has never been seen of or heard of before, they dont know why they are making a complaint in the feedback/bug report/suggestions sections becase the free version of the app sucks (every man and their dog knows it to make you buy overpriced premium, you go out and find someone finally and forget its a recurring subscription. The people who come and post here are almost all brainded, maybe its a machine learning model learning the bare minimu, ahH.ith no know =purpose, its abvious why approve this shit. OH MY GOD THE ADS HAVE FAKE CLOSE BUTTONS THAT OPEN THE AD, welcome to the internet please just purge their suggestions and ban the associated email to the account, its just useless.

    When you receive a high volume of messages on Grindr, especially as a free user without Boost, it becomes difficult to keep track of conversations. This is particularly true with accounts that have no name, no photo, or constantly changing profiles.

    For example, I recently lost a conversation where I had made plans, and I only found it again by chance when clicking into a random blank profile that happened to be the same person. In busy cities with high app activity, this kind of problem happens often.

    A solution would be to allow users to assign private nicknames or labels to chats. For example, I could rename “Looking Now” to “Masc Host CBD” so I immediately recognize them later. This would:

    Help organize chats and avoid confusion when dealing with multiple blank profiles.

    Provide consistency when people change their display name or photo.

    Make it easier to remember important details from previous conversations.

    This feature exists in other messaging apps, and bringing it to Grindr would make the chat experience much smoother and more user-friendly.

    You could only allow people to set nicknames on private accounts and that is fine too, you can label accounts that have no image and no name, most of the time no age, so they all appear as an identical account, its ridiculous implement this now its one parameter for the signed in user to configure per account if selected, store nicknames in the cache on the signed in users phone. No need for a new storage solution.
