   It would be very convenient for the discreet user if the settings that one sets on his account would become his default and each time the app was installed on any device the settings would remain the same. This would include discreet icon, pin and notification settings.

10. I hate the option of double clicking on the profile!

    Currently, the app allows the user to double click on the profile shown in the grid to open the chat without needing to open the profile before. You need to END with this option because it's tiring to be contacted by people who clearly hadn't read the profile because they double clicked on the profile shown in the grid to open the chat directly. I want to be contacted only by people who really have read my profile!

11. Allow the app to reset the fine-tuning search results upon exit and reentry

    If you forget that you had previously checked the box in the fine-tuning search criteria and then you go back into the app later on it keeps those same filters alive and then you start to wonder after a while why the grid looks different and why nobody in your area is on there. That happened to me a few times and I realized it I had left the filter turned on and I just at that moment been looking for a friend of mine that was in the area and I had put in the age bracket to narrow it down. Then when I came back in later on I was seeing all these results for just that age bracket and I couldn't figure out what the heck was going..lol. but we can eliminate that problem if the app would reset the fine tuning filters when you exited and then came back on. Of course that might be a pain in the ass to somebody else who wants them to always be on so maybe my point is moot. Anyway, thanks for the opportunity to voice input, that really works well I think and is beneficial to the whole system running smoothly. I will say that had it not been for me finally upgrading to the first level of the paying membership I was literally ready to rip my hair out about all the ads they are so terrible and so invasive and so annoying, sorry to sound so harsh. They're like the equivalent of the guy downtown that jumps out in front of you with the long trench coat on and when he opens it up it's lined with watches and jewelry for sale and he tries endlessly to get you to buy something and won't take no for an answer, you know what I mean? It's like that happening only it's happening like every 50 ft of walking basically that's equivalent annoyance I keep thinking of. I think the best way to get members to upgrade to the paying membership is to show them the true benefits of being a paying member and all the perks that come along with it as opposed to you kind of railroading them into signing up for it because they get so annoyed with ads. There's a great difference between those two methods one of them is far more humble than the other and goes a long way in creating good energy amongst everybody. By doing at the current way, yes you may be able to get some people to sign up just out of pure frustration but what you're left with at the end of the day is unpaid members that are jaded and resentful of the service because of the ads, and paid members that also harbor their own resentments because they had to pay to get rid of the ads in the first place. If you can create an app like this that is not only beneficial to helping people meet people, but also accomplish that goal without having those same people talking trash about the app when they're not on it, that would be a miracle. Because what you're left with is people going on an app that they're only going on because it's the only one available not because they love it and that sucks for you because you should be able to cash in on all these things together without having frenemies so to speak as users of the service

    There have been plenty of times that I have home projects that I am working on, or home issues that need immediate attention.

    I think it would be cool to hire a local gay or bi contractor/trade worker via Grindr, since the app shows distance and allows filtering. This could also be used for any legal for hire service.
