two sided filters that include gender
there's a lot of people looking only for trans/cd/femme people
make it so people need to both be safisfying eachothers filters
if im a regular gay guy, and you give them filters looking exclusively for trans/cd/femme then i as a result shouldn't be shown to them, and they shouldn't be shown to me
also let's all these t4t trans people avoid all the cis people seeking trans people
just let people only find who they're actually looking for instead of blocking so many profiles just to get through the clutter

Stop giving us less for more
I have been a premium paid user for years. It has always been expensive but I deemed it worth it for the features it provided. Now, it seems like every month another feature is removed or put behind an even higher paywall. Now paying over $100 a year for “XTRA” is not enough, you want nearly $500 a year for “Unlimited”? Even though I am paying for a premium experience, I am constantly bombarded with ads and intrusive feature requests that I can’t access without paying even more. For You? Show tap count
Have I tapped him before? Have I tapped him 10 times before? I don’t remember. It would be nice if the tap icon had a number in it showing how many times I’ve tapped that person before. I don’t want to tap the same guy again if I’ve done so several times already. Plus, a number would be a nice, gentle way of telling people “Hey, maybe you’ve tried this guy enough!” 😆

AI and Facial Recognition for Spambot detection
These profiles often reuse the same formatting, social media links, pictures etc. Grindr should be using AI and Facial recognition to spot and remove Spambots before they even become active on the app.

Age Verification and Display
There is too many people living about age and this can be young kids or older etc and I feel for this app to be safer, age MUST be displayed on ALL profiles and also show if verified and have age verification forced. This would make the app safer, less underage, safer app

Problems with profiles grid
The experience with this app is getting awful. When you access to this app, the profiles nearby are not updated. If you try to refresh, you have to wait until an error message appears. It's almost impossible to chat with new people.
With the last updates the app is even worse: we have a new useless preferred list, we have an hide profiles option (instead of block).
Please, just focus on a good working profiles grid and chat!

Previously there was a search bar in the chat/inbox area where we could type something we mentioned in a convo and it brought up all the topics and which profiles it was discussed with. Please can we have that feature back?

Unlock posts in Explore.
Why was the explore accounts changed from 3 unlockable accounts to just 1? Like why are you trying to ruin the experience? Why can't we simply be able to freely chat to accounts in explore?

Stop extorting your users and bring back the block button
So basically, Grindr Inc. has introduced a “hide” profile option and has officially replaced the traditional block option. So I went and looked up the feature on Grindrs website and found it amusing and condescending that this new feature is being pushed as the perfect solution for us users to rid ourselves of unwanted/unappealing profiles (because you know, we never had that option before.
