Stop Ignoring the critical misuse in Chile (country)
I live in Chile. Several years ago the app stopped being safe for gays in Chile. First there were the profiles of trans scorts, then straight scorts were added, the sale of illicit drugs was unleashed. Today in the app when you open it you will be surprised that more than half of the profiles are not gay, but straight people. Today, March 23, 2024, we learned of a hate crime that was facilitated through Grindr. A boy of only 27 years old was murdered in cold blood by an 18-year-old man who invited him to an allegedly sexual encounter.…

Location Sharing Issue
It's too easy to accidentally send you location and it would be good to have a second authorisation to tap to acknowledge that you want to share it.

Messaging update extremely buggy
I don’t know how this latest iOS update passed quality control. Clearly the chat UI was heavily overhauled, but no one noticed its usability plummet? Photos and chats now show up as blank for a second before loading, but there’s no loading animation to show that. Photos are also completely out of order now, and show random white bars when sent. Not to mention the random additional server refresh animations that make the app feel much slower. But the most annoying thing is, after sending a message to someone, your chat with them is then marked as unread until you…

Update is horrible.
Can we please get the app from a month ago back? Albums crash, messages don’t show up, some won’t send unless I get off WiFi. Did we get rid of send? Offline guys not in cognito are delivered. Like why??

Messages doesn't load
You should consider going back on the updates because the new changes are just not working at all. The grid doesn't update regularly and the Messages are not just working. The app makes them dissaoesr. The read but unanswered messages stay as unread and the chat ins not showing the full conversations. The messages list refreshes or flashes in a useless way.

New unread message tab
Need to fix the messages make a unread tab or new messages tab because the new messages system doesn’t work properly at all it’s worse then before I have to stroll through a lot of messages just to find the message I need and that’s terrible

There are a lot of glitches on the app right now. It’s hard for me to consider renewing my membership when the app’s been buggy for a month.
Fix the bugs and get the app in working order for your customers. Received chats not hilighting. It alerts me a message for the message I sent. The messages aren’t appearing in the dialogue box. You have to back out of the convo and back in to see what you had just written. Etc… have someone run through the app and log the bugs, and then debug for your paying customers at least.

Host or join an event
to be able to host or join an event where people can click on it if they are interested and the host could then accept or who will be going. For example if I want to host a cum and go next Tuesday at my place, people can show their interest and I can accept those i like to well, cum and go. Or whatever idea or party event the person wants to do. There’s something like that on sniffies dot com

A text field for each prifile for create a note about profile.
Can you provide a text area for each prifile? I want to note someone's charecter or real name etc.. And it will display when I click profile

Message Sync
Message Sync - I do not see the back up feature on Android anymore. I hope that message sync allows me to continue using the app in between platforms without loosong data. This would make it a seemless transition specially for someone changing to iOS from Android or cice versa

Add a Profiles Sharing option
Allow someone to share a profile with another user. This would be helpful for couples that are using 2 different accounts. One could share the profile of a potential mate. It would safe time for the users to have to locate a specific profile. This feature could also be used to share profiles with other single users to inform them of potential scams, threats to persons or property, or even if they had a “good time” with them.

Para los programadores de Grindr, lo que planteo en este apartado es en beneficio a los usuarios que deseamos saber la identidad del otro, quizás imponer en las configuraciones colocar si o si una foto de perfil, con una autenticación por medio de algoritmo, que se puede implementar como es en el caso de los biométricos empresariales o celulares que implementan la misma función para desbloqueo facial de los diferentes dispositivos. Fix “Show me on explorer” and Distance.
Even if these features are TURN OFF. It doesn’t work. New profiles still finding your profile and Taping you. NEW users text you Saying you’re close to them.
