LONGER bio descriptions
Grinder needs to allow for Bio descriptions that contain more than 255 characters. Apps like Scruff allow you paragraphs and paragraphs. The 255 character limitation on Grindr is simply horrible.

I cannot search for men who want sex with men and I cannot exclude females and transgender from searches!
Grindr is a joke. I have ZERO interest in anything besides men who want sex with men.
The app fails to allow me to exclude transgender or women and it fills my searches with them. Additionally the apps “suggestions” have been 2/3 transgender women! I have no interest. If this isn’t fixed I will no longer be paying for this VERY unappealing app.

More specific search filters. Remove guys that are seeking trans from the trans results.

Face verification before uploading to profile
Living in a country where being gay is a crime, being outed has serious reprocausion and may cause you your life. There are guys on grindr who are able to post face pictures of other people on their profile putting that person's life in danger, some have even taking their own life. I believe introducing a face recognition verification step when attempting to upload face pictures on profiles should be implemented confirming that the photo being uploaded is the user's and eliminate impersonation and catfishing.

I'll scroll down and see who's around my area. Then I'll hit explore, and go far away from where I was, only to have most of those same people, who are now 10 miles away STILL on my list as nearby.

UNLIMITED YEARLY PLAN
Please put back an unlimited yearly plan as there was previously. It costs nothing to you but someone could need it and you collect some more money. I need some functionality of the unlimited but I don't bother to renew every month.

As previously mentioned. Let me block a blocker. The trolling is like half of my experiences here. It almost feels purposeful tbh like why can't we also block them? It's clear the button exists for a reason and the fastest person to use it doesn't mean they were the ones who needed it. Just let me do it too. anything but having equal power there is (I'll say it again) almost like it's on purpose. 👀 Fix it

Change your banning guidelines
Your banning rules are quite ridiculous. People on dating application, target those people who do not sleep with them, so they make multiple accounts and report them again and again. Grinder consequently bans them.
1. Give prior warning ⚠️
2. Give explanation on which community standards a particular person violated.
3. Ban should be the last resort. It should be considered only after listening the other side too.
4. Freedom of speech and expression for LGBTQIA community is precious, as they have limited sources of fun.5 votes -
Add verification of person and Remove Block Option
After doing conversation with people,If you are sending first pictures of your, after that people block you sudden without any message.It is hurting humanity.if someone humelate you u can take action for that with different system support.
I will suggest you some options- People can't block you after more than 200 words. 2.if someone humalate you, We can report that profile and take action from system.
- Please add verified I'd in app. Other wise provide limited features. You can provide only chat and vc option for unverified people.

Absolutely no more women. No more straight men.
I’m so very tired of seeing “no men” in an app that was once for gay men. The cost of this app should ensure a top notch experience, but we pay just to be rejected by the only attractive men in the area because we’re men. Also, verification process. If I’m paying, there should be a way to ensure all users are who they claim to be.
Bottom line, this app was for the gay community. Give it back to us. Inclusivity isn’t always necessary.5 votes -

My biggest pain is browsing and seeing so many female girls and their long hair. Please help me fliter them out so i can browse only MEN
I'm finding it challenging to browse Grindr, as there seem to be a lot of women on the app. As a paying member, I think there should be an option to filter out profiles of people I'm not interested in. On Scruff, for instance, you don’t see women, so there's no need to filter them out, unlike on Grindr, where the lack of filtering options makes it difficult.

10 photo profile and verified users
We need to be able to show more photos in our profile like in gayrome; so we can avoid asking more or sending more and be sure we really like the guy. After seeing 10 photos we're gonna be sure and communication will be faster. I also suggest more verified profiles with id document. Im so tired of fake profiles. There are so many crazy ppeople.
