2. Unable to determine my location

   When I open the app browser tab black screen other than the center circle with 3 Grindr logo below it says
   No profile matches this filter.
   Change filters to see people here.
   (In yellow font) Tap to refresh. After doing some some it doesn't do anything Most of the time in a red box bottom stop of the tab icon unable to determine your location Retry

3. Ethnicity options, Latino for Hispanic

   Latino is not the same as Hispanic.
   Latinos should be Europeans who speak languages derivate from Latin.
   People from Central, South American countries are Hispanic mostly.
   Could be better change Latinos for Hispanics in Etnicity options

4. Subscription prices are outrageously expensive.

   i would buy another year of unlimited if prices hadnt got so high. Just not enough value to justify spending more than my gym membership. Now Im forced to switch to a cheaper app/platform because the free version is unusable.k

5. Filter for ethnicity

   Dear Grindr, we know you have a lot to offer us, but I ask for one thing that will help many! I really like people, but I have an ethnic preference, I like black guys and that makes me feel passionate; Could you add ethnicity to the filters? If the person is white, Asian, black, etc.

   Please, I need black friends or a boyfriend, but all I see are white people! :(

8. Pricing gouging: cost of Unlimited and Xtra have me bamboozled

   I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concerns and disappointment regarding the current pricing structure for Grindr’s Unlimited and Extra subscriptions.

   After taking a one-year hiatus from the app, I recently decided to re-download Grindr. However, upon doing so, I noticed immediately that the app had become increasingly difficult to navigate without purchasing a premium subscription. The overwhelming pop-ups and advertisements not only disrupted the user experience but also caused my phone to crash at one point.

   Despite these challenges, I decided to re-subscribe to your premium plans, but I was absolutely shocked by the current pricing structure. To say that it feels like price gouging would be a severe understatement. While I understand that the cost of services is increasing across industries, the prices you are charging are not justifiable. In fact, they reflect a critical misstep in Grindr’s approach to research and development, alienating both long-time, loyal users like myself as well as everyday folk, most of which having all good intentions. Instead, this pricing targets catfish accounts and spam advertising.

   As a long-standing subscriber to Grindr’s Unlimited and Extra plans since their inception, I am deeply disappointed. Out of principle, I cannot support such unethical pricing practices, which directly contribute to the ongoing cycle of inflation. By continuing to raise your prices to unjustifiable levels, you are perpetuating the very problem of never-ending inflation. At some point, the cycle has to stop, and it starts with companies like yours taking a more responsible approach.

   I strongly urge Grindr to review its pricing structure and offer subscriptions at a more reasonable and fair rate. This would not only demonstrate a commitment to user satisfaction but also rebuild trust with users who feel increasingly alienated due to the sky, high prices and record number of catfish accounts.

   I hope you will take this feedback into serious consideration, as Grindr’s current approach risks alienating a significant portion of its user base.

    Foto no perfil do meu rosto e sou rejeitado, como assim? Essa acepção de pessoas, como funciona? Vocês escolhem quem vocês vão aprovar? Alegam que minha foto não é permitida, uma foto de rosto e com camisa. Vejo perfis com fotos ridículas onde mostram tudo e vocês aceitam. Acho ridículo. Sejam mas exigentes com todos sem exceção e não escolher quem pode e quem não pode.

13. Stop force pushing ad messages after we have deleted it!!

    If I open and read an ad message from Grindr, such as the ad message for Monkeypox, LET ME DELETE THE AD!

    I’m constantly deleting ad messages from Grindr because they are resent after I delete them.

16. Roaming profiles don’t show when browsing locations

    This is a bug that means people who pay for roaming aren’t getting their money’s worth

    If I spot a hot roaming profile that’s a bit outside of my local area, I should be able to hop into the Browse mode and use my daily profile unlock to find it. Unfortunately, all Roaming profiles are completely absent when in Browse mode - a bug which not only harms the free user’s ability to find someone, but represents a failure of service for anyone who is Roaming as it reduces the avenues by which they can be found

19. Implement Anti-spam features

    Spam is getting out of hand on the app. A number of things could be introduced:

    • limit profiles sending images/outgoing messages / mass message detection
    • block image sending until a chat has been accepted
    • stronger captcha/anti-bot login
      
    • ability to limit/restrict blank profiles
