1. I’d like to be able to search other locations. If I’m traveling someplace I want to get a head start on meeting people.

   When about to travel someplace it would be great to be able to search other locations. Scruff offers this feature and it’s a no brainer. Why Grindr has ignored this important feature for so long is mind boggling.

3. Sex Roles

   I am glad that Grindr has introduced a new role of "Side".
   I think I should add up on the Versatile role;
   -that there are people who prefer to top but they can also bottom some time. They should label themselves as Top Versatile.
   -those who prefer to bottom but they can top some time should label themselves as 'Bottom Versatile'
   -those who just enjoy both at the same level should continue labeling as 'Versatile'.
   -those who prefer versatility but can bottom alone some time should label themselves as 'Versatile Bottom'
   -those who prefer versatility but can top alone in inadequacy should label themselves as 'Versatile Top'
   The remaining two roles of 'Top' and 'Bottom' should remain as it were.

   I think it makes more sense.

4. Do you think we are stupid??

   Stop taking your customers for bloody mugs - £69.99 for 3 months is outrageous, immoral and frankly daylight robbery but then we get to the real insult…£399 for the year advertised as 19% or £19 off…can’t remember which I was so furious - just renew the 3 month one for the length of a year and that £120 saving - come on - even your board is better than this insult

6. Fresh Faces

   Please remove Fresh Faces or provide an opt out. Fresh Faces is annoying and not at all useful. I don’t want to be forced into Fresh Faces just because it change a photo. When I’m in Fresh Faces, all my messages come from 20 miles away or more. Not helpful.

   I believe we should be able to decide whom we want our profile to be visible to. Like a revers filter. Our profile will be visible only to the type of people we filter out. One more request is to make the relationship status a free filter. I am from India and I want to find dates not sex. But currently grinder is not a dating app, it's a sex seeking app in India. A vast majority of the people are married and looking for sex. First of all it's difficult to find a gay man who is comfortable about their sexuality and willing to date. So it would be great if grinder can make the relationship status a free filter so that it is friendly for the gay people who wants to date and find love.

14. Do not mark conversations as read of long press preview

    When long pressing on a conversation in the messages tab Grindr gives you a preview of your latest messages. This is really useful to avoid marking messages as read. However, now when switching to another tab after previewing, the messages are marked as read. It’s likely a bug, please fix it!

    Grindr should include the full date including the year for the chats because it's confusing when I'm scrolling through my chats and all it shows is, "March 24". I don't know if it's March 24 of 2021 or 2022 as the last time I "chatted" with that person.

20. Bad profile photo quality

    No matter how clean and perfect the quality of my photos are, even I upload them on grinder, it gets messed up. It's like enlarging a small picture. It sucks. I see some profile photos being perfectly fine

    But no matter how much I change my account just to see if my photos can be in good quality, they are not. And Grindr doesn't seem to do anything about this. To some of us, clean photos means everything but I can't even tell if the picture is even mine anymore and it is a turn off
