Boost
Please give people on Grindr the option of having a boost on their profile or page. It's expensive and nothing more than gambling which people turn to out of desperation to find someone but at great cost to them often without success. It's also an addiction and you must realize the mental health and hardship this brings to a lot of people.
If you value the well-being of your customers you would look into doing this. People's lives ( extreme I know ) can get ruined because of Grindr Greed to cash in on the vulnerable who use the app8 votes -
Account banned thinking I am spam
I request to improve Grindr system to have enhanced checks like the other dating app does. I was banned in error assuming I am spam
Tinder/hinge/bumble all check for spam/profile photo verification account is created. That’s instant. None of the other apps bans in middle of chats. That’s very disappointing!On Grindr, I have been waiting since weekend. My whole weekend got spoilt. I’d like you to escalate this so that users are not left banned for long periods without violating anything! This has happened with me several times in last. Pls escalate this!

After blocking, the chat window should be maintained
When someone behaves abusively in a conversation and then blocks the victim, the chat and profile disappear and there is no way to report it. In this context, the structure of the Grindr application itself favors abusive behavior by not maintaining the chat window after blocking. I would like to suggest that even after blocking, the chat window should be maintained for both parties as a way for the victim to eventually report that they had a toxic conversation and then blocked it to escape.

stop forcing boost down our throats with pop up’s and pinned messages
Boost is a useless feature as it is especially for the cost and having random prompts pop up trying to get people to buy it and making it a pinned message without independent of the user choosing to pin it himself is obnoxious and is having the opposite effect you think it is. I know me personally will never purchase boost now because im tires of having an obvious cash.grab bombarding me to tempt me into getting it like it’s an ad for a bad mobile game and even with gribdr unlimited there’s nothing I can do to stop it

Make the app for actual men looking for men
It is absolutely deterring to continue to use this app and pay for it if you don’t remove the bots rather than use them to give misrepresented customers totals for whatever funding you’re trying to get. It’s awful and I spend less and less time on this app.

Grindr should be for men seeking men. & cellphone verification should be required with a text code
Grindr should make a separate app for mf couples, trans, and all other individuals seeking something other than male for male interaction. Also, due to the high number of fake profiles I think creating a Grindr account should require text authentication, preferably with a system that can detect when 3rd party text apps are being used. This would protect peoples privacy and increase safety for everyone.

5 CLICKS to close ads and unmuted ads
you want to ruin the experience by popping ads every 5 seconds, fine. But having to click 5 times the "x", ">>" "->" to go back to the app, especially when the buttons are 2x2 pixels big, is absolutely frustrating. at that point I forgot who I was talking to.
Also some people need to keep this app private. personally I keep my phone in vibrate mode and only open the app in discreet places. there are ads that just start playing sound even on vibrate mode WITHOUT a mute button. this is a major problem for people who want…8 votes -

Instagram link should require VERIFICATION
You should be required to VERIFY YOUR INSTAGRAM LINK with the login process!
(It's crazy to me that this is not in place like on Tinder)
Verification is so important, partly for our safety to avoid catfishers with malicious intent.
But most of all for the VICTIMS of identity theft and defamation. It's crazy to me that you will allow anyone to personate someone with a profile link.There are so many people, straight and gay, that report this problem on public forums, and how this abuse is a big issue to them.
Grindr, you have a responsibility here!

New tribe
It would be great if you added more tribes. Trans shouldn't be a catch all for non binary people. There are plenty of bottom tribes that don't really fall into the Trans tribes. People that identify as sissies, femboys, or crossdressers don't really consider themselves to be Trans
