2. No photos

   There are literally no photos on the entirety of the app, I can’t see anybody’s profile pictures I can’t see any of the images people send me I can’t even see the pictures on my own profile. no photos.

3. Have an option for Snapchat in the same way you have Facebook, Instagram and twitter

   If you have the option to insert your Snapchat addy could be good for more ways of connecting.. instead of instant add tho, it should be like a request button that has to be approved by the profile owner if you get me. Hope you like the idea and can implement

6. Navigation / swiping between profiles / pictures

   The navigation between profiles is sometimes quite annoying. Usually you need to use the upper left "<" to go back to the grid (either when in a conversation or flicking through photos or profiles).

   In many applications swiping from left to right (at the middle of the screen) does the same trick and is much more convenient in contrast to using the "<".

   It would be good if the left to right swiping would be applied consistently within the different sections of the App (from profile to profile / pictures within a profile or conversation) to come back to the Grid/overview.

   Currently there seems to be an error in the logic as sometimes I am tapping on the "<" and it is like a loop - picture or text and it takes several tapping before you're back at the grid. Maybe you can verify if all code is at the right place.

7. Profile Image Quality and Composition

   Profile images viewed in the grid view sometimes show more of the image composition compared to when viewed larger. The grid view is representing images in a square one-to-one ratio thumbnail appearance. But, when viewing the image larger, most smartphone screens are taller than wide, and therefore images submitted as 1028p x 1028p end up getting cropped. As far as I know, you are not able to drag to reposition, change the scale/zoom, or use multi-touch gestures like pinch to zoom, etc.

   It seems an app that almost relies on images; the overall implementation could be more elegant. Allow higher resolution images, use of multi-touch gestures, figure out the aspect ratio issue mentioned earlier, and maybe use artificial intelligence to evaluate images for quality, or even composition.

10. No profiles available

    Everytime i open the app all it says is "no profiles available " on the nearby and fresh pages. If i type in a specific area on the explore page i can see people but i only get 3 free taps/ messages and whenever i message anyone their profile disappears. I have tried everything i can think of and nothing is working.

11. Move back button and other controls to bottom

    On most big modern smartphones the screen is simply too tall to reach the top of it with the fingers from your main hand that’s holding the phone. So you hold it with your left hand, possibly type with two thumbs and to reach the buttons at the top (e.g. the oft use back button on Grindr) you have no choice but to use your right hand and physically move it to the top of the screen to use these buttons. You cannot use Grindr with one hand only. Most apps are like this but please have a look at the Flipboard app. It’s designed for one handed use with all the home, back and forward buttons at the bottom. (See two screenshots attached). This is also why Apple moved the Safari search bar from the top to the bottom. (See third attached screenshot).

    So please consider how Grindr can be updated to be operated by only using one hand and having all the control buttons, and specifically the Back button, at the bottom.

12. Ban the word BBC

    Please ban the word BBC. If other radicalized categories and stereotypes are not allowed this one should not be either. It appears as if it benefits the majority and subjugates black men to specific roles which is why it’s still allowed to be on there. However it’s disgusting, fetishizing, and creates harmful stereotypes. It should not be kept on here just out of convenience for those who are looking for BBC, because that is privilege. 13. Bulletin board post things to the community on bulletin board

    Have a bulletin community board like Sniffies. If I wanna fuck rn, it’s a fast way to get immediate attn from multiple users. It’s a value Sniffies has and Grindr doesn’t. I think you should add the feature asap, don’t lose market share to sniffers.

15. Allow people to opt out of being seen by profiles with no pictures

    It’s really annoying to constantly get berated by profiles with no pictures because I’m not interested in discreet men. Please add a setting that would allow users to opt out of being seen by these profiles. Totally OK if it’s a premium feature for extra

16. Preview private note of favorited profiles

    Private notes on favorited profiles is a great thing! this is very helpful.
    I suggest to add a preview feature on the main page of favourite, because now to read notes we must click on each profile and check the notes, it will be useful to have that shotrt notes (20caratcter for example) already on the main favourite page, the is not necessary to click con the profile picture otherwise it seems we visited the profile instead we only wanted to recognize who was it.

17. Not knowing if somebody is signed into my Grindr

    There should be under settings how many devices are signed into your Grindr account because some people have crazy exes and they like to hack into your Grindr and you don’t get all the messages they go to his phone and my phone so I would like the option to sign out of other devices that are signed into my Grindr

19. Away/Brb status.

    There’s incognito mode… so clearly there can be more modes. An Away/Brb mode. Manually select or auto set to Away after 10 min inactivity. If you’re messaged while in that mode ir should auto reply with a “Disay Name is currently Away and might BRB.” After 10 min in away mode Idle them out.

    Useful when you hand to suddenly answer a door, clean up your cum, send that trick on his way etc…
