1. Alternate chat colour screen

   With Grindr’s distinctive orange and blue chat bubbles it is very clear to another user, but specifically also to people with ill intent, exactly what app the person is chatting on.

   For the safety of all users can we please have a choice of chat window colours to either something user set, is bland and nondescript or at least appears like a chat window that mimics Messenger or WhatsApp colours.

3. Over monetization

   There's way too many adverts, everytime a send a message there's an advert. This is just being useful. I know Grindr basically wants everyone to pay for the app but this is brutal.

   I live in a small country, 800,000 total, even at the cheapest tier (which is brutally over priced anyways) it's €80 a year wasted. I'm not going to pay and this will stop me using the app so you'll get less revenue. Unless you make the tiers fairer and get rid of the €40 per month package that's just silly money.

4. Stop Controlling Selected Targets of Drug Dealers/Pimps/Liars/Thieves/Murderers

   There is a specific person of interest who only has his fucking pussy in mind, when selecting who needs to be placed on what “portion” of Grindr. There are many different builds, with different people placed upon each platform. I was originally available on each different portion of the app. Someone stole my account, by making up conversations with himself over several devices, jeopardizing everyone’s perception of who the fuck I am.    I’m always trying to support lgbtq service providers (accountants, plumbers, real estate, landscaping, etc) and Grindr is such a ubiquitous app, I’d guess that there is a huge opportunity to use the platform to help connect gay customers with gay service providers.

11. Boost is better than a membership

    I stopped my membership due to all of the fake profiles . There needs to be a feature which allows for a paying member to stop non members from messaging them.

    give members a "party boost" all day on the weekends. I have been paying for boost only because more people message me and it's cheaper. There is no incentive to be a member . Boost is the only feature that helps you meet new people on the app.

    Can we please have an option to report people for flashing/cyber-flashing. I’m tired of having to constantly keep setting my receive nsfw pics to never after getting constant albums and pics from older men. like is that their way of saying hello? Maybe setting a system up so you get strikes after being reported for it and it’s reviewed, and after a certain number of strikes you get banned. Just to clarify cyber-flashing is still a crime even though it’s online.
