Stop removing functionally from basic and Xtra.
It is crazy that Grindr keeps moving functionality up to higher tiers. There is no issue charging for premium features. Just don't charge folks then move the functionality they paid for to a higher tier. Do the job to create new functionality to justify higher charges.

switching profile verbiage from “undetectable” to simply “untransmittable”
Ad resources are being spent, by grindr itself even, to educate the consumer base about what “undetectable” means, and I find that great. To me though, these resources do seem kinda nonperformative—like you’re telling us, but not exactly embracing it yourself. One thing that could be meaningful to the HIV+ Community you serve is to embrace that language you’re standing behind and change the status options to include “untransmittable” as the status instead of “undetectable.” To protect your company, you could have an extra screen pop up to ask them to verify that their status is in fact undetectable, but…

Blank User Shield
The abundance of blank and photo-less profiles is concerning and incessant.
Allow users with photos the option to be invisible to blank users or to appear blank to those without profile photos. This would ensure a more equitable sense of privacy among pictured & blank users.15 votes -
Auto ad opening
Remove the feature that auto-opens ads. This feature has proven to be an extremely annoying. I understand having ads allows grindr to be free, but tbh I get more frustrated at the app, than people sending nudes to start a conversation.

Stop force opening links
Stop force opening links in Grindr. It is not only unwanted, but potentially dangerous and against basic cyber hygiene. Thank you!
Attached is one example of a force opened junk link. Not only is it annoying and potentially dangerous, but it is completely unrelated to any personal interests, and therefore does not add in any way to the User Experience.5 votes -

Sending unsolicited Dick pics Is a crime. Let’s enforce that please
It’s been a crime since sept 2019 to send unsolicited nude pics. I have been sent so many, I not only get angry but also nauseous. I get them nearly every freaking conversation, im sick of it and im going to start reporting the crime to law enforcement, Grindr should be legallly obligated to do something different then the current guidelines. Obviously the NSFW option doesn’t work. It’s against the law . I’m gonna use my profile to shed some light on this issue and I will be reporting violators to law enforcement.
