5. The ban procedure impacts people lives and it’s taken too lightly, whilst limited support is provided.

   Dear @Grindr, I am writing to you with a heavy heart and great sadness. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I have been a loyal user of Grindr for over 10 years. The app has been an integral part of my life and has allowed me to connect with like-minded people and form meaningful connections.

   However, I was devastated to find out that my account has been banned without any explanation or warning. It has been several days since I last used the app, and I was simply trying to log in to check it when I found out about the ban. Losing access to Grindr has left me feeling disconnected from the community I hold so dear.

   What saddens me the most is that I have lost all contact with people I have met through the app over the years. These were real connections that I cherished, and it breaks my heart that I can no longer reach out to them. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I rely on apps like Grindr to feel heard, seen, and secure.

   I kindly request that you look into case like this and help people regain access to their account. I understand that mistakes can happen, but it seems a lot of ban are pure automation for users who have always respected and abided by the community guidelines.

   Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope that this will be heard and that, together, we will all be able to resolve this issue and continue to build a safe and supportive community on Grindr.

6. No syncing between apple products and constantly having my message history disappear (what’s the purpose of a backup copy after it went misg

   Extremely frustrating that there Grindr had created an app for iPad, however, the app will NOT display in the horizontal position (which most ipad user’s will TYPICALLY have their iPad in (the horizontal position and attached to a keyboard). The Grindr app will only display in the vertical position.. Frustrating.

   Also, why is there such a struggle for you all to let messages appear on more than one device. If I’m on my iPad and receive a message, that message will not show on my phone, at any point, after I have clicked on it on the iPad.

   What does the ‘chat backup’ actually, really do? I have the app addatchex to my iCloud (with massive amounts of free space still available. Why CAN’T the chat be stored in a cloud?

14. give some context when you ban people

    I am tired of the constant bans this app provides, I always have to figure out what I did wrong, and I am still confused what happened. I send an appeal request and like 4 days later someone contacts me with no new information and just says a generic we have the right to ban people. I only got unbanned by proving my identity please make this better instead of just banning someone please provide them details to build a proper defense against false bans as they are a more common occurrence than Grindr LLC wants you to believe.

    dear Grindr, when will You please stop ignoring people questions about restoring the ethnicity filter option? We all know, there is a problem with racism in America, but I havent noticed, it has been better since there was no ethnicity filtrer on Grindr... We dont have this problem as a gay society.
