1. Snooze

   Like in Facebook, I would like the ability to “Snooze” someone for 30 or 60 days. With this feature, the profile would not appear in any grid while they are snoozed. Chat history remains. I would still be able to see the current profiles I snoozed and recover them shall I decide to “unsnooze” them. Also, they can see me but I cannot see them. They can still message me and I can still respond. Like in Facebook, the snoozed user will have no idea that they were snoozed. Users can continue to be snoozed indefinitely but, like in Facebook, users have to deliberately snooze them every time after the 30 or 60 day window expires.

   Why is this feature important? Sometimes you encounter a friend/colleague or someone you had a date with that started well but then they had a bad day and something went wrong. In these circumstances, the block button would be too harsh and could hurt feelings. Also, time heals and people change/evolve so giving someone 30 or 60 days to try an encounter again could be beneficial. Sometimes you need a break from someone!

3. I seem to only get messages from people that are not at all good....as if my account is spoofed or contolled

   So I'm not sure if anyone else is experienced this but I've been on and off the app for a few years now and I finally extremely strange over the past 3 years. I know it sounds crazy at first so I thought too but every time I'm on the app I only seem to get messages from older men who are paying for sex or would expect so and or are expecting someone who is only after a certain type of drug-filled night once again almost expecting that they can purchase this individual by doing so. I've been questioning many times in person, " you're so handsome and cute I find it hard to believe that you are not with anyone or how can you not find anyone"and wish my response is always I don't know either no one seems to want to talk to me... because this has begun to affect my self esteem and it's quite honestly a little bit strange but I'm able to handle a lot still, I am not a conceited person at all by far I'm very humble and I am not anything but intelligent... And once again please do not take this as conceited I am and been considered to be known as a prodigy when it comes to mathematics and physics so I am not stupid in any kind of way nor am I trying to boast anything it's just there's one thing that I'm very intuitive on and that is noticing patterns. I don't understand why this is like this on the app and the only conclusion that I can come to do to controlling people in my life in the past others would find not possible but I do very much so only come to the conclusion because there is no other possible as to why this pattern over and over and over again keeps happening on this app as if someone is able to spoof my account or as if someone would be an administrator and for some reason has some sort I'm grudge against me and I do not know how the administrators work on this app other apps are they are local as in they rely on people who are nearby to be the current administrators or hosts of the app. I was just curious if there's any possibility to see if anyone else is experiencing this and as well if there's a way to stop this on the app and the event that this is actually true in a lot of people are indeed going through or have been in the same situation that I'm describing. I'm very much so type of look outside the box way of thinking and at the same time I look at every single solution as well as possible problem before coming to any kind of theory. That said please do understand that I put a lot of thought into this before even making this message and it took a while before I even realize that you could do this sort of thing because you do not make it very obvious to most users.

7. Message Counter in Inbox

   When looking back at messages, it would be handy to have a Message Count, so I can see the people I exchanged only a few messages with vs. the people I've had nice long conversations with or message regularly.

   Considero atualmente um dos piores aplicativos que existe para relacionamento ou encontros casuais. A maioria dos usuários são FAKES. Muita gente está usando o aplicativo Grindr apenas para descobrir quem são os outros usuários gays. O aplicativo é muito falho no quesito autenticação de usuário. Uma mesma pessoaa faz diversos pelfis falsos. O algoritmo de perfil está muito restrito, aparece poucas pessoas e isso causa desinteresse em utilizar o aplicativo. Cada menos tem gente real lá usando o Grindr. Afinal quem é o usuário real sabe que vai perder tempo mandando mensagem pra pessoas FAKES então quem é real deixa de usar o Grindr.

9. Block users out of personal age range from seeing accounts

   I want to be able to block my own account from showing up for users out of my age range, for example if my max age is 25 then users 26 or older can't see my profile. This would stop all the creepy dms I get from old guys.

    I am in spain right now. loads off fcc hot men, but hardly anyone speaks a word of english. could you develop a translate button to a language you could specify yourself? you could use google translate/deepl/leo to connect us better. what do you think?

    One touch blocking. Just how users can currently Force Touch to favourite, chat, or report directly from the grid. Enabling one touch blocking would be helpful and efficient, and avoid sending a “who viewed you” notification to the profile which could allow people to see that you’ve blocked them in real-time

    I have a friend who also uses grindr but the only way to “friend” each other is using explore and trying to find his profile. As of right now I can’t find him. I wish I could send him a link or a friend request via text or whatever to be able to find me on grindr.

17. Flakey Date System

    This app is supposed to facilitate meeting somone....but the majority of the guys never show up. They are Flakes. et there be a heart or no-show icon button that others can click based on if the person flakes on their dates so others can see if the person is likely to show or not., And have that rating displayed on the profile picture. We should be able to make a decision based on the fact that a person is more or less likely to show up. Sure there may be some malicious uses... Restrict the functionality to check to see if the two people have actually exchanged conversations. That means both of them have sent more than let's 5 messages back and forth..we dont want someone being falsely accused.

18. Boost Popup is Intrusive.

    I get it. Boost is revenue for your company. But I am already s lying customer. Why do you pop it up when I'm in the middle of trying to type something and almost accidentally click it. If I wanted to boost then it should be in my settings and only display when I tap it. Now it just pops up at random times when I'm scrolling my grid and could cause unwanted taps. It is intrusive to throw a popup over top of a standard function such as scrolling my grid. I am a software engineer....for 1t years I've developed apps for desktops and mobile devices and INTRUSIVE POPUPS, especially for already paying customers is bad for business. It might even be the reason I cancel my membership. Noone likes having something thrown up in their face or popping up unexpectedly that could cause them to be charged 7.00 dollars.....and WHAT??? it just doesn't make sense. I'm paying you to give me the people that are nearby that I might waan talk to or meet, and you're cluttering my grid with people that are way too far away . First, I don't meet anyone that's over 30miles away because the percentage of those people saying they're coming to see you and NEVER SHOWING UP is increased exponentially.

19. Pictures and Album Management

    First, most of my pictures are just gray boxes that error when I try to send them and there are way too many to just go through one by one and delete them like that. Some type of management Interface is needed to smoothly manage the uploaded pictures perhaps some detection on pictures with locations that can't be resolved that show gray boxes and error.
    Creation of albums should be tap a button, give it a name, description, and visibility selection ie public/private......then open your main photo gallery of uploaded photos, where you can select multiples to tag them with those album properties. Then when you send an album, it still pulls from your main gallery but only shows the person the ones tagged with that album Id. That way you only have one catalog of images...but the main issue, is that you can only upload one photo at a time. Do you add one ..then you have to go back through you're phone AGAIN.....select another photo .....crop it....hit ok....again....then hit add photo again ...then you have to browse through your phone AGAIN .. select one..... Go to the crop screen....hit ok.......YOU SEE MY POINT IM SURE......that is one of the most frustrating part of the app.
