Slow connection
It takes forever for the app to update its pages when you go on it or switch galleries. Your competition SCRUFF is fast as lighting! Their pages update instantly! Grindr is painfully slow and unappealing! If you combine all the different threads of people who started subjects on connectivity issues here we would be in the thousands! This issues affects regular and unlimited Grindr users. Stop saying you want to"improve our experience"and actually FIX the issue!

Please be on the lookout in Florida in the Lakeland/Tampa Bay area there is a malicious criminal pretending to be gay men n grindr with hundreds of fake profiles. She is luring gay men and putting us into dangerous situations in order to isolate, control and erase our community. Profile Info to Communicate what we want
We have the ability of using text boxes and drop-down boxes in the edit profile section to show who we are. Why not give us that same ability in our profiles to show what we are interested in? For example, if someone has a very fixed idea of what he wants in a guy, he can fill out that section of the profile using similar drop-down boxes currently there for your own information. You only want somebody between the ages of 25 and 30? Select that as an option. You are versatile but only want to consider guys who are…

Restore Bigger Character Limit to Profile Text
Somewhere around 2016 and update to the app came out that reduced the number of characters users could have in their profiles. I remember distinctly not updating my profile because it would mean needing to trim quite a bit out.
Yeah that’s probably has to do with the way the string information is encoded in your database. But if you think about it, get more characters for a tweet than you do for the profile text. Show users distance range/ filter profiles with no distance
Firstly, let me preface by saying that I understand very well the reasons for not showing someone’s distance if he/she does not want it shown. It can be a combination of privacy, safety, both or something else.
That being said, I get a lot of messages from people that hide their distances. Additionally, if I am using filters and the results are only profiles that have distances hidden, I don’t know if I’m talking to somebody 5 miles away, 500 miles away, or 5000 miles away.

increase from 3 profiles to 30-50, or make a feature where you have to watch ads to unlock profiles
there are people who are in places where in the feed there’s not much people to hook up with, or they’re being rejected constantly. because of that, guys would rely on the map to find someone they like, but i don’t think making people spend £10 per week just to be able to use the map properly is fair for anyone who lives in areas in london where they don’t have a fair chance of meeting someone.
this isn’t just in london, this is anywhere in the world. just please create this feature-
