4. dial back ads and promos

   I am so over being inundated with ads promos and upgrades on my app I have the plan that I’m comfortable with, grindr extra ..I don’t need you to bombard me with boosters upgrades or anything else that I don’t want. if I feel I want to add to my plan, I’ll reach out and find it.

6. DO AWAY WITH BOOST!

   The most annoying PAIN while on/using the Grindr app is the super persistent ads and pop ups or messages promoting the Boost feature that I have NEVER used nor will I EVER choose to use. I’m subscribed as an unlimited member and part of that decision was to ensure I was not plagued by any sort of ads (I understand an OCCASIONAL message but those pop ups AND consistent adverts on the main grid every few grid columns after scrolling down a certain distance?). Please please please.. DO AWAY WITH BOOST!

   If not, then at least implement features where we can opt out of that marketing or have an algorithm in place that picks up on the amount of times that a user chooses not to BOOST when advertised to them and then block those adverts to that specific user in all its forms since that user is clearly not interested in that option. Its a win win, the user wins by not being annoyed and Grindr wins because the user is no longer annoyed/frustrated and happier!

13. Upgrade to view albums? SERIOUSLY?

    My unlimited subscription just expired. I was absolutely shocked to discover that you need to have an Xtra or Unlimited membership to view all the albums that have been sent to you. WTF? I wanted to browse the albums that were unlocked and sent to me by people I've already chatted with and apparently I can't open them without upgrading? Are you fucking serious???? How recent does an album have to be sent to me for me to view it (without paying)???? May as well start charging people to receive photos as well while you're at it. WHAT A FUCKING JOKE!!!!!

17. Map based for cruising, finding guys nearby and hot spots for hooking up

    The app is ok in letting you know the distance of guys in your area but I think it would be a lot better if you added a map feature where you can see exactly how far or have an idea of what area you might be heading too. Of course you don’t have to pin point the exact location of users, with just showing up on the map within a few feet of the location a user is currently at would be nice. Also add the option of selecting a user role such as crossdresser would be good too and a filter to find guys based on your taste such as ethnicity.

    The app is ok in letting you know the distance of guys in your area but I think it would be a lot better if you added a map feature where you can see exactly how far or have an idea of what area you might be heading too. 18. Stop trying to force us into becoming subscribers by reducing features, it’s sneaky and disingenuous just be up front about it

    Just be honest about the fact you want everyone to pay from now on, make an announcement and change over to a pay only app and be done with it. Slowly reducing features without warning us is insulting

19. Quit ruining the app

    Everytime there's an update something the used to be included in the free profile gets removed and added to the paid service and the price is fucking ridiculous. If I'm paying $40 a month the app should guarantee the assholes I'm talking to are going to show up after I take the time to prep and douche.
