   Can you please help me understand why I am paying $39.99 per month for an app that has such a limited search filtering? For example, why can’t I just search for certain pronouns? Why can’t I search for certain genders? Why do I have to rely on you to add a specific identifier that I’d like to associate for myself? Why can’t I do a keyword search for the text that people put in their profiles? Why can’t the text of my profile be longer? These are basic items that should be in the Grindr app given its age so I can’t understand why I would continue paying for an app that is missing these basic features. Please help me understand why I have to look at profiles that I don’t want to see and why my block list has to be longer than Grindr’s bug list in order to not see those profiles. Your help desk gave me a canned response, because they know the limitations of this software, and don’t want to mess with a real solution. They did not even try to give me answers to the questions about because they knew it was not possible. If you were going to charge half of a gas tank of gas per month, I think we should get what we want. Have you read the comments in people’s profiles saying how they do not like this app?

   We can only see a small amount of profiles, many of which are cis and trans women or straight men looking for cis and trans women. Its unfair to lock out the people who dont qant to pay to be rejected. Unlock all profiles. Thus dog sh#t app used to be so good. Unlimited features. Now you are stuck watching the longest fycking ads. You can't be nude on profile (but the ones paying are) theres prostitutes trying to sell themselves and their onlyfabs. Bots. Scammers and homophobic trans and cus women. Make grindr a gay space again. Verify all profiles, remove women and hetero people, remove ads. And for god sake stop charging for essential stuff like profiles

15. The latest update is nothing shy of annoying

    It appears a lot of ppl are not happy with the latest update. I'm one of them.
    There are two issues the developers need to address.
    1. The auto update is nothing shy of annoying. Is every 30 seconds really necessary? No, it's not. Let thr user update the grid on their own.
    2. The who Viewed me. I can see when the list is updated. However. I have to click on the list to actually see who viewed me, then scroll down the grid to find them. The old version would show who viewed you when you scrolled down the grid with no need to look at the list.

18. Replotting and returning to top of list

    I scroll down four "pages" and see two people I would like to know more about. I click the first person, see their info, and then hit the "back" arrow on Android. The user list refreshes, and...I’m back at the start of the list. I then have to scroll back down four pages and hope the other person is still there.

    Fix: when you click "back," you return to the place in the list where you started. (As EVERY OTHER APP on Android works!)

    So it has come to my attention ever since I have been targeted for about the past 3 years every aspect of my life is almost been controlled and it began with my phone being hacked. I stood up to someone who has a platform and it occurred to me that individuals on Grindr started to block me based upon a body type which is a fat behind and also upon anything monetary. I do know for a fact that virtual reality is being used and there's only one system that I know to possibly have access to have it in this number where this comes to affect the apps and approximate activity is that in order to control my use and individuals that I'm able to communicate with it's not a hacking it occurred to me that these individuals are taking the real Grindr app as well as every other app on the phone and what they are doing is they are making the exact same look and it operates the same but it's under a developer app so they install remotely using either ignite or Android auto or Google voice Assistant driving mode something that requires in-depth training they remotely install a look-alike on your phone of every app on your phone although they're developer apps and when doing this in numbers they get income for the amount of use that are there so in other words in time when you're purchasing these memberships and you're using these apps monthly thinking that you're using Grindr and it acts as normal you're really using a developer app and they're making millions and millions while still in millions and millions from The originators instead of developing their own unique thoughts and ideas and nobody ever knows except the company wondering why their money is falling behind. I know that this associated with virtual reality I know that it's associated with someone in government to either have a training or is still there the goal is to get this out and to voice it I'm telling you where to start take your phones to geek squad learn how to be able to identify the demographic even when you go to the Google app store that they also know how to make look alike. Thoroughly research it and pay attention and look at all of them because in numbers they're doing this in their banking and you losing thousands upon thousands.     Grindrs way of verifying age is too easy to manipulate.
    Too many 17 and under ages on the app putting 18 and older users at severe risk.

    You need to upgrade to a valid state ID photo of a license for the system to "OK"

    There are too many minors who claim 18 to 22 years of age on the app.
