1. Why are there SO MANY scam profiles?

   There should be some sort of verification process... where I am in Texas, it seems like half of the guys "online" are using fake locations, doing scam work. They try to get your job, your phone number, real name, all to build a profile to scam you. It makes using the app annoying and frustrating. Look at the number of "mock locations" requests - they're mostly almost identical language, posted again and again. They're NOT REAL USERS. They are working in places like Dubai and Malaysia, it's called Pig Butchering. Scruff, even the free version, has a quick and easy verification process to ensure that you are who you say you are. Grindr should have SOMETHING.

3. The constant upcoming banner "upgrade now" thats blocking part of the menu, i get it you wanna make business but dot force it on us please

   Its really too much with the "upgrade now" banner that comes up like every 10 min and overlayers the navigation buttons & menu.

   I get it you want people to subscribe but not everyone hast that money & its too much considering there are add's & also a short range for people who dont have premium

   But the "upgrade now" banner every 5min on top of the app is an overkill, also the app breaks up sometimes by opening the appstore

   Please change that

8. A real photo of people should be required... To man stalkers on here and way too many add bots and people sending out fake pics ... A

   People should have a face pic on their profile and of them ... I'd should be scanned or some sort of id people are sending out way too many fake pic it makes us uncomfortable safe and blank profiles know who we are but we don't know them . It's scary you can find someone on here where they live and everything .. stalking and harassment have happened... And when we report it nothing gets done a real face pic should be up loaded ...

9. Delayed Block

   Ever wish you could block someone without them realizing it?

   Imagine if Grindr had a "delayed block" feature.

   You can block the profile but instead of disappearing immediately from their chat list, nothing happens until several hours later. The block is activated hours after your last interaction, once your messages are likely hidden under newer chats.

   Sure, they could still realize they've been blocked but they are far more likely to have simply forgotten about you.

11. Marker on grid for existing conversation with users

    Would be great to have some kind of marker that would let you know if you have an actual conversation history with the specific user so instead of having to click on the profile than dig for a conversation. It will be obvious that there’s an issue with a specific user something like the blue halo but maybe green or another colour

    By uploading a head shot which is forced to be taken with the device front facing camera only guarantees authentication of the users profile,
    This will eliminate spam, fake & Bots.A New Tab with everyone near you who has this feature..
    I know for a fact this will wash out the undesirable profiles and blank avatars.

    Grindr you need to be doing more around security and safety of your customers & I understand that by forcing everyone to have a profile picture may be detrimental,

    This is why I would appreciate a tab with this simple Non-Invasive, clear and trustworthy feature for users.

    Having a trash bin for deleted msg would be amazing as we all know people are busy and we don't always get ba k right away and for those of us who are willing to wait and tend respond it makes a huge difference. Like today for instance I deleted a chat and an hour later the person messaged me and I had no idea what they were talking about at first!
