2. Apps very glitchy

   My texts come back as if I sent them. Very frustrating becuase I get pinged and my phone vibrates. As well it vibrates with no taps and messages. Ads are extremly annoying hate having to sit in a 30 second ad and then have to click through two more pages to get rid of them. I literally just have decided to unload the app and reload it so I can get through the adds, it’s quicker that way!!! Also you should move the tap to the top of the screen to avoid accidental taps. And make the other option if taps more usable so I can click devil instead of hot or hi sometimes and not always use hot because I do forgot they are there. I always feel like old perverts always text me. I look young but I am twenty and these perverts never ask for my id then say I look 16 and it kinda freak me out so there should be a way to limit what ages can find you.

   Yes, everyone should be using unique passwords. Yes, people should not share information that they would not want unintended viewers to see. Yes, if people have a problem with its security practices they can move to other apps. Do these (false) assumptions of the userbase mean the implementation of proper safeguarding practices should be ignored? Absolutely not.

   Grindr serves an incredibly vulnerable population. Since it is by the most popular platform for this population, it is its responsibility to do what is most ethically and morally responsible, even if it makes people slightly awkward when logging in.

   Our personal information is only as secure as the peoples' accounts that we share that information with. I can setup complicated passwords for this one app, but if an account that I have interacted with becomes compromised because they did not take the same steps as I did, then everything I shared is also compromised.

   We can't make the assumption that even a majority of users make their Grindr password unique. Thus, it ought to be mandatory for Grindr users to participate in 2-Factor Authentication. This will not completely solve the problem of data security and digital safety, and it also would not be a popular change, but it would be a major step in protecting the safety and security of its userbase.

    I used to be able to tap on a profile picture on the messages screen it would open the person’s profile. It doesn’t do that anymore. Also when scrolling messages, tapping the messages button on the bottom of the screen would take me to the top of the list again. It doesn’t do that anymore. We used to be able to search messages and we can’t do that anymore. I pay for unlimited, I should not have to deal with these annoyances especially if they were functions that were there prior and removed without notice. Y’all are charging a hefty price for this shit and I am a long time subscriber so my opinion here should weigh something.

    The problem is the company itself. They don’t care about your issues or the fact that you can’t find real love because of how woke and horrible this company is.     Guys keep sending me dick pics. I have it in my profile title and description both that I don't want unsolicited nudes, and accepts NSFW pics set to never. Guys still send unsolicited nudes, they don't read. Grindr has already shown that they don't bother persecuting these people because nothing has changed. Make all photos censored upon sending with a "click to open" button similar to Whisper chats. This way I have a chance to ask if the picture is a nude or a face pic and I'm not just getting blindsided with a random dick in my inbox. If you're worried about this making Grindr users pissy, then make it a feature that can be activated on my account. Don't make it a premium feature, because it's not about convenience or ease of use, it's about stopping sexual harassment.
