  1. Filter for ethnicity type users are looking for

    I feel that it would be best to add to the filter ethnicity types to help better search the kind of men each grindr member is looking for.
    So far it’s good since we can search between tops, bottoms and versatile but adding the choice of ethnicity we are looking for would be a tremendous help and make this app so much better.

  4. Add “cuddles” to the “what we’re looking for” tag

    Some people are asexual or sometimes just arent currently looking for sex. Sometimes, we’re just wanting to hold or be held- no sex. So many people will think “cuddles/cuddling” as a name means to cuddle and then have sex- it would be more efficient to have a “position” as “cuddle” or “no sex” even. Having your position only eludes to the fact that u might wind up wanting sex. We need something for those of us with a strict no sex boundary for that time period at least.

    It would be good if I can post a pic of my body wearing underwear but apparently this is not allowed as my photo keeps getting rejected but im not nude. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    There should be allowance for users who have been blocked by someone the same privilege to block them back. As it is if someone blocks you they completely dissapear. It happens occasionally that I tee up a meeting, After agreeing on a time and place I then take about 1.5 hours getting dressed up and ready, the meeting time has come and gone, I log back in to find the user has blocked me, and I'm unable to block him back, which leaves the person who got blocked vunerable to this kind of behaviour from the same person again and…

    this is to engage local NGO that protects the human rights of each individual in every single country Grindr apps is available so that the combination of all is strength n here data protection act to those who abused this apps. thank you

  10. Two account restriction required

    Peoples are having two and more accounts, especially in Ethiopia. They use it first, to send you attractive men pictures then after seeing your real picture, they come up with the their other account. That's boring. It would be better to let someone to have only one verified account at all time, either by facial biometrics or by finger biometrics. But, the privacy options should be left for the account holder.

  13. Please make ads easier to click the X and remove the ad. It’s obviously purposely designed to make you click the ad

    I get ads support the platform but it’s ridiculous small the “X” button is.

  16. Stop manipulating the data. As soon as booster have been advertised, I have a much less connections.

    Before I was receiving at least 15-20 requests a day. Since the booster come to this app I start receiving 3-5 requests.
    It is so obvious.

    When using the block function, the chat records of both sides should not disappear at the same time, which is very unfair, because the blocked user loses the opportunity to block. At the same time, if he is harassed, the chat records and other evidence will disappear because of the other party's block, and the evidence will be gone!

  19. Local group chat rooms!

    Years ago, before mobile apps, Gaydar had local chat rooms for cruising, seeking immediate sex in LOCAL GROUP CHAT feature! Do this now because it becomes frustrating not knowing who is looking for right now.

    Surely this idea is easy and used to make the old computer hookup website very successful?!

    Grindr needs to do this for postcodes, main areas, and main towns globally!

  20. People use the block button way too fast... Maybe innovate a feature where messages to someone that has blocked you go into a special file.

    Maybe you can develop a special feature where if you message someone that has blocked you it goes into a special folder that can still notify the person that's blocked you that you have sent a couple messages and they could be limited... But first they are screened for any negativity or cruel intent first as a suggestion... But it could be a way for misunderstandings to be cleared up and keep people from treating each other as disposable...
