10. Search for people close to me withing my area instead i get 536 plus km away

    I pay for this app and there are to many fake Ai profiles and profiles with 30 plus same photos being used you need have better filters and photo use something that identifies repeat photo use and multi profile.

    Hello Grindr

    I would also like to share a reflection I have had for more than ten years.

    Why doesn’t Grindr create some kind of register or tracking system for people who engage in conversations, set up meetings, and then never show up, or people who use chats to collect photos to share with others, or who simply provide false information?

    In my case, I have been banned three times in fifteen years for similar situations, and I would like to explain. I am a completely real person. I do not engage in any illegal activity, I do not discriminate against anyone, and I have never, ever given someone a fake meeting.

    However, I do attract a lot of fantasizers because I am open minded, rather submissive in my private life, and very honest about my preferences. What you should understand is that when I agree to meet someone, it requires significant preparation time for me. Meanwhile, I have repeatedly had situations where profiles made me book hotel rooms, or like this Monday, made me take a Bolt ride 30 minutes away and then never showed up. I ended up paying for the ride there and back.

    Do you really think it is fair that these people are protected and remain on Grindr, while I get banned even though I did nothing wrong?

    The only thing I sometimes do, when they do not block me first (because many fake profiles block immediately after setting a fake meeting), is that I call them fake, or a liar, or someone who makes things up. Sometimes, when they do not reply at all, I may send an insulting message and then stop there.

    If the report against me is based on a screenshot of one of those messages, I would really like you to review the full conversation history. I am confident you would see that I was honest and that I was the one who was stood up.

    What I find very surprising is that I end up banned from Grindr, while the person giving fake meetings remains active.

    I find this deeply unfair, because if you review all my history and all my conversations, you will see that I have never done anything wrong. Never.
