   Greetings from Kanpur Queer Welfare Foundation (KQWF), India.

   We are writing to request that Kanpur Queer Welfare Foundation (KQWF) be considered for inclusion in Grindr's LGBTQ+ Community Assistance and Resources section for users in India.

   Kanpur Queer Welfare Foundation is a community-led, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the health, safety, dignity, and human rights of LGBTQIA+ people. Since our establishment, we have worked to ensure that queer individuals have access to inclusive healthcare, psychosocial support, community services, and accurate information. Our mission is to build a world where every LGBTQIA+ person can live with equality, respect, and pride, regardless of their identity or location.

   We currently provide the following services across India:

   • 24×7 confidential LGBTQ+ support and guidance.
   • HIV prevention education, testing support, and referrals.
   • Information and guidance on PrEP and PEP.
   • STI awareness, counseling, and linkage to healthcare services.
   • Mental health counseling and emotional support.
   • Assistance for individuals facing violence, discrimination, or social exclusion.

   • Referrals to LGBTQ+-friendly healthcare providers and partner organizations.

5. Missing Pride Flag / Heatmap for San Diego

   Hi Grindr Team,
   San Diego is currently missing from the Explore heatmap and pride flag features. Could your mapping team please add them?
   Please add Hillcrest as the primary gayborhood. It is the undisputed heart of San Diego's LGBTQ+ community, home to the Pride Promenade, the community center, and the city's highest concentration of gay bars.
   Because the city is spread out, the contiguous queer community also extends into these directly adjacent neighborhoods, which should be included in the map boundaries:
   * North Park
   * University Heights
   Manually flagging these areas would massively improve the Explore feature for both locals and visitors. Thank you!

    Add an automatically generated profile information section that displays how long a user has been on Grindr (e.g., Member since 2020). This field would appear by default when a profile is created and would not be editable by users.

    Why This Is Good for Users

       Seeing how long someone has been on Grindr helps users quickly assess credibility. Long-standing members often feel more trustworthy than newly created accounts, especially when deciding whether to start a conversation or meet in person.

       Users already make fast judgments based on limited information. A “Member since” indicator provides helpful context without requiring extra messaging or guesswork, making interactions smoother and more informed.

       A newer account may signal someone who is still exploring the app or the community, while a long-time member may be more experienced with how Grindr works. This context helps users tailor their approach and expectations.

    Safety Benefits

    1. Helps Identify Potentially Risky Accounts
       Bad actors often rely on freshly created profiles. Highlighting account age makes it easier for users to be cautious with new accounts and avoid rushed or suspicious interactions.

    2. Encourages Safer Decision-Making
       When users can quickly see whether an account is brand new or well-established, they are better equipped to decide when to share personal information, exchange photos, or meet offline.

    3. Discourages Abuse and Spam
       Knowing that account age is visible may discourage repeat offenders from constantly creating new profiles, as new accounts would be more obvious to other users.

14. People you hide come back at some point and are not permanently hidden

    The hide feature is only good if you can hide them permanently. It does not good if someone says specifically what they want and you are not it and they just come right back. You should be able to block people that will never be interested in you.

    When I initially subscribed to Grindr XTRA, one of the key features was the ability to view up to 600 profiles in my area. I have recently noticed that this number has been quietly reduced to 300, while the subscription price has remained unchanged.
    I find it very disappointing that such a significant reduction in functionality was made without informing existing subscribers. This change significantly impacts the value of the subscription I originally agreed to.
    I kindly request that the original feature — access to 600 nearby profiles — be reinstated for existing XTRA subscribers. I believe this would be a fair and respectful approach towards long-time users who subscribed under different conditions.
