Fake profiles, escorts, etc.
Fake profiles are not being handled by Grindr. I get guys who I've reported creating new profiles EVERY DAY and contacting me again -- there needs to be verification like a government-issued ID. If a profile with that ID has been reported/blocked/banned, they obviously should NOT be able to just create a new profile with the same ID. Also all the escorts need a separate category - any "regular" guy who asks if we're "generous" is an escort. The word "generous" if used should generate a pop-up warning. Creation of the Go Up button in messages
Every time I go up the messages to see the old messages, and choose one, when I exit the message, I am redirected to the recent messages. Usually when I want to see an old message, among dozens or hundreds, I don't get the one I want the first time, I have to look for it one by one many times, and I can't do that because when I leave a message, I I am redirected to recent messages. They could put the back button at the top like when you scroll down to see the most distant profiles instead…

While individual conversations can be valuable, it is also important to have the option for group chats.
My primary concern regarding the Grindr app is its potential to become mundane and time-consuming, especially when faced with limited options. To address this, I propose the implementation of a live chat room feature, allowing users to engage in real-time conversations. Additionally, introducing a notification system for expressing interest in private chats would greatly enhance user experience. I am confident that these enhancements would resonate positively with the majority of our members, elevating their overall satisfaction with the platform

The number of people offering sexual services sucks. It is so boring. And they are denouced and blocked but the keep returning I suggest in Brazil you request people’s CPF number. Once a profile is denounced and blocked, that CPF Will be blocked as well so that they won’t be able to return. For God’s sake everyone is sick and tired of these people. It puts us off and we’re loosing the interest in using the app. We’re thinking twice as to give it a go.

Une messagerie qui fonctionne correctement
La messagerie est une catastrophe...il faudrait faire quelque chose car depuis la dernière mise a jour la messagerie n'est plus utilisable tout simplement donc l'appli non plus...on ne voit plus les messages non épinglés donc aucuns nouveau messages apparent . On ne voit plus la totalité des messages épinglés et quand par bonheur on arrive a voir au milieu des messages epingles qu'on a un nouveau message c'est qu'on a bien cherché...l'Installation et désinstallation n'y fait rien... Ou puis je trouver et installer un ancienne version? Svp ? Merci

Can we please have a voice memo feature on the profiles? I would like people to know I sound like for transparency, and efficiency sake. It wouldn’t be mandatory just optional for those who do more than hook up.

Age of profile displayed publicly
I’m getting harassed by this one guy who keeps creating new profiles and that led me to realize that it would be wonderful if it was possible to display the date/month and year of profile creation publicly - that way you would know who’s out there to harass you and who’s been around for much longer (i.e. they must be legit). I’m getting tired and anxious of this one particular person trying to catfish me (I’m probably not alone) and it’s not easy to report that kind of stuff, so such an indicator would be very helpful.

Banning abusive narcissists and stalkers maybe?
At a loss for words. My best friend was abused by a narcissist for over a year. He confronted his abuser and the narcissist retaliated by filing a temporary restraining order against my best friend over total lies. My best friend has been receiving texts from unknown numbers. He’s been threatened but then received photos of the parking lot where he works and of the street he lives on. Stalking 101 right? Ads
I stayed away for 2 years and after only one day the ads have gotten worse. If you're struggling that much to get and make money then maybe it's time to think of something else because these ads are going to cause you to lose me and many many other people and the advertisers are not going to see any results from their advertising when they're forced down our throats. It's very obtrusive and spammy. I know I read that Grindr is not doing well but pushing ads in our face is not going to help your revenue it's going…

Please make profiles free-form text searchable so we can find better matches and increase connections, whether that be for hookups, friends, dates, networking, and/or relationships.
Searching by tags is a step in the right direction—thank you—but it’s too confining and unreliable :/ others ar following my location what I don't like2 votes
