People use the block button way too fast... Maybe innovate a feature where messages to someone that has blocked you go into a special file.
Maybe you can develop a special feature where if you message someone that has blocked you it goes into a special folder that can still notify the person that's blocked you that you have sent a couple messages and they could be limited... But first they are screened for any negativity or cruel intent first as a suggestion... But it could be a way for misunderstandings to be cleared up and keep people from treating each other as disposable... Make it so Blank profiles can’t contact you
Have an option to where blank profiles can’t contact you. Sniffies has a setting where anonymous people can’t contact you if you choose it. That should be applied with Grindr as well

Ban device when it highly necessary
Stop banning devices without any reason as instance if someone use spoof location, you know that your application is capable to stop them so banning that device is unnecessary and lose of users, And he/she definitely will raise ban appeal, this will also increase unnecessary burdon on moderators, burdon leads hiring more moderators and hiring more moderators leads wast of money.
So, sir/mam i request you to stop this and use that money on making application more working, this will reduce the dependency on advertisement to make application free.

Hello their should be a person is real march profile to avoid being catfished or fake accounts that creat and generated to only collect nudes for unexpecting boys and men.

Distinguishing between one country grindr user and another country user
Mostly users from my neighbors country are shown more in (near you) suggestions. It’s get harder to use grindr because I don’t if I’m chatting with my own country individual or another country individual. Kindly solve it by putting country name or flag an option

Select all button to delete all at once in chats pls
When deleting chats the apps lets you delete one by one or pin chats one by one

Pic approval needs human verification
I've never once tried to post a naked ass pic but I've attempted to post a clothed ass pic and it gets denied everytime because of "the guidelines" but I see a lot of profiles with ass pics. The bot approval is either bias or just doesn't work.

Block nudes when unsolicited
Everyday I receive nudes even though I didn't ask for it. I ticked "do not accept nfsw" and wrote it explicitly on my profile. More and more countries start to consider it is a sexual offense, so I think you have technical capabilities to block these messages. Regards

Flag failed messages to appear in red in message thread
Personally I would like to see if the last message I sent failed in red, in the message thread as it does when the conversation is open. Would help immensely! Rather than looking at the thread and assuming it sent successfully because it appears as a sent message

Group chat
If I left the group then the group chat gets disappeared but it shouldn't be.
If I left the group then it should still keep the chat history as like WhatsApp.

Show a verified user badge on accounts who upload a clear face image like the scruff app now has so that people know the image on your profile has been verified to be you it will stop all the imposters

Stop disabling profiles w/o hearing boyh sides
Admins/Moderators need to start getting insight and evidence from those being reported for Grindr Community and Policy Guidelines instead of automatically disabling the so called "violators" profile. You are way too quick to believe the reporter without speaking with the person reported. And police people profile names I see tons of profile names promoting party and pnp everyday with zero repercussions

Remove from grid without blocking the profile
Remove from the grid without blocking the person.

Report users before they disappear into the night
I hate it when you encounter some rude crazy maniac which is what this app is filled with most of the times and then they disappear into the night and I cannot report them it's very annoying and very frustrating and you all are to stop doing that let the ads stay sound for somebody can report the person the Scruff does it Adam4Adam does it and you all can too

Deleteing messages
Being able to delete all messages from a certain time period. Like a drop down that would allow you to select like older then a month week day or maybe just auto delete conversations older then a month with no current conversation

Equality in profile pictures
I'm always finding super revealing pictures on other people's profiles. I don't think all the moderators approve the same quality of pictures. Some profiles can have super revealing pictures on their profile, while other profiles can only have mild pictures when it comes to body and nudity. So can we just have equality all across the board here??

Biggest pain point on app right now is that I cannot upload and share videos through chat.
My idea, is that videos should be able to be shared within chat. Not just ones that you record in the Grindr application but also others that are in or on your phone for example.
This allows participants the ability to be more intimate with each other and allows LGBTQ artist to show their work. It also helps covey various ideas and is therefore good for communication.9 votes
