2. That I can not use a non nude pic on my profile

   It would be good if I can post a pic of my body wearing underwear but apparently this is not allowed as my photo keeps getting rejected but im not nude. 🤷🏻‍♀️

3. People use the block button way too fast... Maybe innovate a feature where messages to someone that has blocked you go into a special file.

   Maybe you can develop a special feature where if you message someone that has blocked you it goes into a special folder that can still notify the person that's blocked you that you have sent a couple messages and they could be limited... But first they are screened for any negativity or cruel intent first as a suggestion... But it could be a way for misunderstandings to be cleared up and keep people from treating each other as disposable... I've been blocked before over simple typos and before I had a chance to go back and correct it I was blocked. I think this is a novel idea and should be implicated and also track how often people block people and send notifications to someone who blocks a lot of people inquiring so that your you are able to manage your app more efficiently because it's a social app not an antisocial app... Figuring out how to connect people and connect more people improves the standard of your app.

   Allow a trust score when viewing a profile based on length of account, blocks related to abuse specific topics (not lack of interest), phone number / email verification, number of positive interactions or favorites, threads muted etc... Maybe a machine learning algorithm. Should help prevent fakes, flakes, and bots interference by increasing checks on less trusted accounts

   O aplicativo te proíbe de falar a verdade. Ser sincero. Mas não proíbe os perfis fakes e sem fotos, os perfis deveria ter por obrigação , todos os perfis deveria ter fotos nítidas e verdadeiras. Isso é um absurdo, pessoas se esconderem por traz de perfis. Podendo ser pessoas maliciosas e de má fé. Você não pode colocar uma foto sensual porque fere as diretrizes do aplicativo. Mas pode ter um monte de perfis sem cabeça ou sem fotos, isso não é segurança. Porque por traz deve ter alguém malicioso. Pessoas do bem não escondem sua face. Já as maliciosas e pessoas de má índole sim. Se escondem atrás de perfis. Os perfis deveria ter regras mais rígidas e fotos de perfis obrigatórias. Existe muitas pessoas sacanas atrás desses perfis e muito de menor também. Eu proponho que os perfis sejam todos certificados e que tenham fotos da pessoa de verdade.

9. Popup check most toggled options are correct, e.g. hosting or not

   As a traveler I'm not always at home or I am in a hurry to get somewhere and settle in, I don't got time to think about an app setting.

   So I login, and often miscommunication

   Due to me forgetting to change all my show and do not show toggle options

   Or change if I can Host or not Host. So like a travel reminder.
   Say 100 mi outside usual radius. Ya get a pop up reminder asking to review toggle options.

   As nice as that is I think it would be even faster if we could set a set of profile options. I'm gay so at a work event I'd prefer to set my grindr to a work setting for networking professional profile to give my best first impression wether it be a potential al future ex husband or not showing.

    I'm an MTF trans woman, and I found Grindr to be the only functional and safe environment to find potential partners.

    There are several other apps intended only for trans people and those who admire us, but in none of them we can chat without paying a subscription. we are literally forced to pay to have the right to at least talk in them. That's why I was happy when Grindr decided to be more inclusive and I intend to continue using it. This is also the reason why the number of users has also been increasing, as part of the population discovers Grindr as the best option to get to know each other.

    However, profile control is still very necessary, since we cannot define our preferences with precision, which means that we are suggested profiles that we are not interested in and also makes our profiles appear to gay men who are looking for by boys.

    Please allow us to filter our preferences and also who we can appear to. I think it is important that there is inclusion for all audiences. We need to have the options to define our gender identities and sexual orientation, as well as detail these characteristics of the people we are looking for, including whether they are single or couples.

    To conclude, in addition to defining who we are looking for, we must also define who our profiles should be presented to to avoid embarrassment.

    O objetivo do Grindr é encontrar parceiros sexuais. Isso é um objetivo bem claro desde sempre. Dito isto, não faz sentido censurar as fotos dos perfis, ou mesmo o que se escreve. É inacreditável que não se possa expressar nem mesmo a preferência por tamanhos de pênis. Foi espantoso eu não poder escrever que tenho total preferência por homens muito bem dotados. Justamente porque não sou obrigada a aceitar o assédio de rapazes com pênis pequeno, que não me agradam. Eu acabo tendo que falar isso no chat e me sinto mal por isso. Se nossas preferências pudessem estar escritas na descrição do perfil, pouparia esse constrangimento para ambas as partes. Acho que temos o direito deixar claro nossa preferência para não termos nenhum tipo de surpresa desagradável ou estresse. Também não faz sentido existir uma limitação de caracteres na descrição do perfil. Isso dificulta a compreensão que é escrito, já que precisamos fazer abreviações que muitas vezes dificultam o entendimento. Todos os que entram no app assumem ser maiores de idade, portanto por favor deixem-nos ser livres com os nossos perfis. Quem entra no Grindr tem total consciência do que espera encontrar. 15. Limit how many times your profile can be viewed.

    The same people will look at a profile multiple times in a day. This gets irritating because they look at it again in a matter of minutes, especially when the profile goes against what they put in their profile. Going back and forth looking at the same profile, especially when they don't have a picture or it's blank.

19. Report location spoofing

    Allow users to report suspected gps spoofing. When I go into this app to read a message and it says the person is 1 mile away and by the time I read the message and respond they are 345 miles away. It is not possible to do that and if you’re going to manipulate and lie about your location I’m going to assume you’re lying about other things and that you aren’t on this app to meet anyone and are probably in here for illegal reasons. I live in a rural area where most of the time the closest guy is 4 miles away and so I don’t want to have to deal with people faking their location. If you’re within a mile of me you live on 1 or 2 streets in 1 of about 50 houses. It’s real easy for me to pick up when someone is lying about their location.
