Equality in profile pictures
I'm always finding super revealing pictures on other people's profiles. I don't think all the moderators approve the same quality of pictures. Some profiles can have super revealing pictures on their profile, while other profiles can only have mild pictures when it comes to body and nudity. So can we just have equality all across the board here??

Add option to require consent to receive images
Have the option for users to block incoming image messages from people until the user has granted them permission. This will allow users to avoid seeing unsolicited NSFW images from users they have not given consent to.

Pic approval needs human verification
I've never once tried to post a naked ass pic but I've attempted to post a clothed ass pic and it gets denied everytime because of "the guidelines" but I see a lot of profiles with ass pics. The bot approval is either bias or just doesn't work.

Flag failed messages to appear in red in message thread
Personally I would like to see if the last message I sent failed in red, in the message thread as it does when the conversation is open. Would help immensely! Rather than looking at the thread and assuming it sent successfully because it appears as a sent message

That I can not use a non nude pic on my profile
It would be good if I can post a pic of my body wearing underwear but apparently this is not allowed as my photo keeps getting rejected but im not nude. 🤷🏻♀️

Android/IOS price
i just switched from Android to IPhone, there is a huge difference of price almost 70% and that is not fair, please make it more affordable for IPhone users

Medidas de seguridad contra perfiles falsos
Se necesita urgente tomar medidas contra perfiles falsos, quizás no necesariamente obligar a usar foto del rostro visible, pero que al menos al momento de crear la cuenta se tenga que enviar un vídeo de verificación a grindr, así mismo, que individuos expulsados de la app no puedan regresar gracias al reconocimiento facial

Stop disabling profiles w/o hearing boyh sides
Admins/Moderators need to start getting insight and evidence from those being reported for Grindr Community and Policy Guidelines instead of automatically disabling the so called "violators" profile. You are way too quick to believe the reporter without speaking with the person reported. And police people profile names I see tons of profile names promoting party and pnp everyday with zero repercussions

Report users before they disappear into the night
I hate it when you encounter some rude crazy maniac which is what this app is filled with most of the times and then they disappear into the night and I cannot report them it's very annoying and very frustrating and you all are to stop doing that let the ads stay sound for somebody can report the person the Scruff does it Adam4Adam does it and you all can too

HIV Status
I personally think to limit the amount of guys that are getting put at risk by other guys who lie about their status, Grindr should make HIV statuses marked as verified in the same manner that the app’s algorithms check profile pictures to make sure they’re not inappropriate. If they’re negative or on prep the verification mark for their status could require reevaluations every 3-6 months so it accurate enough for users to make safer and smarter decisions with who they’re hooking up with. Biggest pain point on app right now is that I cannot upload and share videos through chat.
My idea, is that videos should be able to be shared within chat. Not just ones that you record in the Grindr application but also others that are in or on your phone for example.
This allows participants the ability to be more intimate with each other and allows LGBTQ artist to show their work. It also helps covey various ideas and is therefore good for communication.9 votes -

Butt photos are allowed now? Honestly, it’s ta disgusting and distasteful. It makes scrolling through profiles painful. I am not trying to see someone’s bare ass. GROSS

Perfis fakes e sem fotos
O aplicativo te proíbe de falar a verdade. Ser sincero. Mas não proíbe os perfis fakes e sem fotos, os perfis deveria ter por obrigação , todos os perfis deveria ter fotos nítidas e verdadeiras. Isso é um absurdo, pessoas se esconderem por traz de perfis. Podendo ser pessoas maliciosas e de má fé. Você não pode colocar uma foto sensual porque fere as diretrizes do aplicativo. Mas pode ter um monte de perfis sem cabeça ou sem fotos, isso não é segurança. Porque por traz deve ter alguém malicioso. Pessoas do bem não escondem sua face. Já as maliciosas…

Que vuelva a ser solo gay
La aplicación es una app gay, por lo tanto debiese seguir siendo solo para la comunidad, ahora esta invadido por gente que vende droga, hombres hetero buscando mujeres y mujeres ofreciendo servicios sexuales, donde quedo lo que era antes grindr? Ya no hay casi gente gay, por que la app ya se tornó para todo, y realmente TODO (drogas, prostitución, heteros, etc)

Actually verify face photos (no cartoons, e.g.)
There are a lot of failures by this public company in the app. One of the many is that too many alleged people (I say alleged because how can we know they’re real) who post CARTOONS and other obviously fake, non-human photographs….and these are verified by mods or AI as being a human face! Please vet these, even if it’s a paid member. I also pay for the app, and I’d like my payment to be used to support working AI/mods.
Also, let’s cleanup the non- 1) gay, 2) men. It’s never been an app for trans people. At minimum…
