Fixing the Bot issue
There are way too many bots and scams on this app. Every time I’m on the app now it spams me with taps from bots and scams, please find a way to fix this. I have 20+ in a row of just spam. Maybe a verification system through email or number so they don’t have easy access.

Maybe fix your total lack of safety measures
It is beyond horrific that this app is infested with fake profiles and bots. Even your damn ads consist of viruses. It is so hard for a normal person to create a profile and yet scammers have no issues getting access to this app and YOU DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. The last six months have been a bot hell and when you get a report you never react to it. It just says awaiting moderation. What in the lords name do you even spend your money on? You want people to pay... but for what?

How many threads need to be made about this befote you do something about it? How many complaints via email? Is it intentional to waste our remaining uses of Right Now? Or do you think it "promotes" the feature by forcing us to try it? If so, how many accidental uses are enough before it no longer makes sense as a forced trial/promotion?
Just looking at the first two pages of results (out of hundreds when searching for threads regarding "Right Now") I got 11 posts asking for the same thing.

I am writing to kindly request a review of the ban placed on my account. I was surprised to find that my account was banned, and I honestly do not understand the exact reason for this action.

Unfair Account Ban and Inadequate Appeal Review
My account was permanently banned for allegedly offering or requesting paid sexual services, despite never engaging in such behaviour. The ban notice indicated that automated measures were used, and after waiting nearly two months for an appeal review, I received only a generic response stating that the decision was final, without any explanation, evidence, or indication that a meaningful human review had taken place. As a long-term user who has always used Grindr for its intended purpose, I find this process unfair and lacking transparency. Remove Taps
Taps are annoying & useless may I request that Grindr gets rid of taps for good? Because users on the Grindr app hate taps & it takes up space for better features on the app. I remember in 2020 I seen a guy said in his bio that if you gave him a tap he’ll block you. Now users can’t see taps unless they pay for the extra feature or get Grindr unlimited. It was never like that users were able to see taps for free. Add distance filter
I don't need to have their exact location, but filtering by distance range seems like a no brainer. Id even say that premium users should be able to block those with hidden distance. It would certainly cut down on the fake profiles.

Do something about all the fake bot accounts!
So many fake bot accounts using the same 4 pictures. How many spam reports need to be received before something is done. Maybe some sort of verification needs to be put in place. Like getting a code texted to you or something when you make a new account. This is getting really ridiculous having half of my feed covered in bot accounts. I mean what do we pay for xtra or unlimited for if all we are seeing is more of the same bot accounts?

Auto block any profile who's title is "YOU NEED FUNDS" Would be easy to implement and would reduce about 75% of the spam taps received.
Just automatically block the sentence "YOU NEED FUNDS" in a similar way that references to 420 and other drug references are automatically moderated. This would reduce fake users linking to external sites where I'm pretty sure they are NOT giving free money away or wanting to take care of your debts. Similarly any profile that promises to pay someone $1000 a month is clearly a scam and it should be easy to filter a few keywords and flag those profiles for review before they get a chance to spam other users. I just opened the app I’m still in the closet and not ready to come out. And the freaking new message almost forced me to come out in front of my family! This is really unsettling. Can we please get this message and sound removed please?

Age filter
The recent change to the age filter to only allow blocks of 5 years is ridiculous. Please remove that limit & allow specific singular ages to be selected, AS IT WAS PREVIOUSLY!

New changes to favourites means you can no longer see when they were last online, a feature that was very handy.
The recent upgrade in the app has resulted in favourites moving to a grid, just like everybody else, I it was much better the old way. It also means you can no longer see when they were last online without clicking on their profile, a feature that was very handy/useful. Displaying favourites differently to the regular grid was a great feature of the previous generation of the app.
