An increase of scammers
I have recently noticed an increase in scam accounts messaging me. Most of them are for websites advertising adult content that you must sign up for by first giving the platform your credit/debit card information, others are trying to be a little more sophisticated by trying to get users to sing up for external "social media" platforms, such as a website known as "dreamguydatesandfun", found here: dreamguydatesandfun.com (Please do not sign up with real information as you will be scammed). Purchase with Non Grindr name
My Google play shows all my boost services and subscription on google play and there is no option to hide it or remove it, this is big privacy concern. Also Grinder purchases must reflect with Non Grinder name on Google play or credit cards, its really scary when I discoverd that. Also not having Web version is a big concern from years

I think everyone’s distance should be displayed. If not. Than be invisible. This is what made Grindr so popular. Why it’s around today

Showing the date of acount creation
It will be very useful that every acount have a date of creation that will reduced the potential for harassment. Not only the gay community, but also harassers who are not and create accounts to publicly shame you or harass you in any way.

Copy / Paste profile text
It would be very helpful to be able to select and copy the text that is on the profile we are viewing.
I am traveling around South America right now and can’t speak a word of Spanish nor Portuguese, so I need to type each word into a translator - one by one - to understand what the guys are saying because I can’t select the text from the profile. Need an option to mark profiles we are not interested in. Not block or report.
Able to mark a profile with a red X where the gold star would normally go. That way even if they change up the name and picture the red X would still be there. There are folks on here that don't neccessarily need to be blocked or reported but we just arent interested in. The block feature only makes them mad making you a target if they are not well adjusted in the head.

Mucha gente reporta a la gente fea, y más de una persona me lo ha dicho, y que tiene multicuentas para cerrar cuentas a personas, también me gustaría hacer como en Instagram poder buscar u/o compartir perfiles.

Functionality and fees
Take a look at Squirt.org
The far superior functionality and much lower fees makes Grindr look like an amateur production.2 votes -
My biggest pain points are the recent further restrictions for free users and the exorbitant fees for Xtra. Waaaay too expensive
Fees should be one third of what is currently charged. You would find you get many more members and increase your income accordingly. Raising fees to cover higher costs results in squeezing more people out of membership thus reducing your income. You need a new EFO.

Auto log out
Once a user has been inactive for 1 hour then gets auto logged out, so often just left on and ots a ghost profile with no one logged on or watching.
Would work much better for those who pay and select the toolbar for "online"

Wish Kink Tags had Definitions
I was trying to find a tag about being intimate or "softcore" sex but it's defined as Vanilla. I'm scared to use this rag since it, to me, connotates with being "Basic" but I don't see softcore/intimate sex as basic, so I wish there was more education for myself and others available around what the different labels means
