2. HIV Status

   I personally think to limit the amount of guys that are getting put at risk by other guys who lie about their status, Grindr should make HIV statuses marked as verified in the same manner that the app’s algorithms check profile pictures to make sure they’re not inappropriate. If they’re negative or on prep the verification mark for their status could require reevaluations every 3-6 months so it accurate enough for users to make safer and smarter decisions with who they’re hooking up with. For those guys that don’t get tested often or choose not to upload their results from a clinic, they should be filtered out or even just have a status that shows not verified. As far as my area goes, there’s two dudes that I know of so far in particular that tell people that they’re clean and disease free while they’re both HIV Positive. They get away with it because their statuses are hidden and it seems that even though it’s illegal, a lot of people who are HIV Positive choose to not disclose this information when they are legally suppose to before they have sex with someone.

   salve dovete fare in modo tale che le foto caricate dagli utenti devono essere comprovate da un documento di riconoscimento,girano troppi fake e per lo più gente che fa mille profili senza aver uno scopo di community, ma ben si per infamare gli altri utenti come ad esempio fare screenshot di foto di altri sia nudo che viso e usarle impropriamente,in più autentificare con un documento varrebbe addire che quall ora qualcuno o qualcosa succedesse voi in automatico chiedete al utente se vuoi quelerare il suo aggressore e passare tutto alla polizia postale che si interesseranno immediatamente della gravità dell' accaduto...

9. When the app is closed and click on a new message, it goes to the chat but content not shown

   Once I close the app, if there is new message, then it shows a notification as expected. But when I click on that notification, I go to the related chat but the chat history is not visible. I have to go back to the messages and open that chat again. I tried restoring the app but still the same

11. Present a stern warning to underage users for profiles claiming age 18 (or < 21)

    If there’s not going to be any real verification, Underage users need to be informed of the serious risks to their own safety, and the potential to destroy lives of the adults they contact. Advise them that their parent/guardian will be notified and held liable for their behavior. AND that repeat offenders can be charged as adults for endangering the lives of those they contact. sometimes minors may reach out because they have suicidal thoughts or their lives are in danger. Remind them to seek help from parents, counselors, teachers, relatives, neighbors, or call 911.
    There are many legal and appropriate options available to them.

    When an “18 year old” contacts me, and I have reason to believe the person is underage, my first response to them is that warning.

    The remaining 5% will be reported and reminded every single time i see their profile until they leave.

    Additionally, I warn them that I may use another identity to obtain their contact information, which will be used to notify their parents and local law enforcement.

17. See who’s blocked me

    I’ve had more than one incident where I’ve been blocked by someone, only to have them unblock me just to keep tabs. I get that they can’t reblock you for 24hrs but if they go incognito they can still spy on you. We should be able to see who blocks us so we can block them back so this doesn’t happen.

    Have an option to have couples displayed in your grid, or not displayed in your grid so for the single guys trying to find a date arnt swarmed with a bunch of guys just looking for a NSA engagement.
