   Debería existir un espacio fijo en el perfil donde se pueda dejar explícito, sin depender de etiquetas ambiguas:
   • Si tienes sitio para follar o no
   • Si buscas a alguien que tenga sitio
   • Qué tipo de encuentro quieres, sin rodeos

   Las etiquetas actuales no sirven porque son limitadas y poco visibles, y terminan obligando a repetir lo mismo en cada chat. La app necesita permitir que esta información esté clara desde el inicio, sin adornos ni interpretaciones.

   Sería muy útil contar con un “modo discreto” dentro de la aplicación, que permita modificar la apariencia visual (colores, ícono o interfaz) para hacerla menos reconocible en espacios públicos.

    Everyone who uses Grindr knows there are lots of great people out there, but also too many fakes, liars, and time wasters. My idea is simple: create a reputation system inside the app. After chatting with someone, users could anonymously rate if that person is real and respectful, flaky or misleading, or just completely fake. These anonymous ratings would automatically build a kind of trust score. If most recent interactions show that a profile is fake or unreliable, a small warning icon could appear on it. On the other hand, users who are genuine and respectful would earn a positive badge showing that they’re trustworthy. This would save everyone time, make interactions safer, and create a more honest and enjoyable experience for the whole community. In short, Grindr with reputation means Grindr with truth.

    I’d like to suggest a feature that would greatly improve the user experience — especially for people who have specific preferences.

    Problem:
    Currently, it’s difficult to filter out profiles that aren’t aligned with what I’m looking for. For instance, I’m not interested in meeting crossdressers or those who identify as women, but many such profiles show up in my area. Similarly, some users are looking exclusively for women, which doesn’t match my interests either.

    Suggested Solution:
    1. Make it mandatory for users to specify their gender identity in their profile (e.g., cis male, trans male, trans female, non-binary, crossdresser, etc.).
    2. Introduce a strong filtering system where users can choose to hide profiles that don’t match their preferences (for example:
    • Hide crossdressers
    • Hide users looking for women
    • Hide users with no gender specified)

    This would help users better navigate the app and find people they’re genuinely compatible with, while also making the experience more respectful and tailored to everyone’s needs.
