I know in America the race thing is sensitive. Here in Europe, there is absolutely no issue with saying you are more intro this or that skin color, because it's just a natural attraction. I am white and I like darker skins because I love difference and exotic people. I would like to be able to select people based on the fact that they are non-white. Know your audience
We all know why those of us who use Grindr get online (primarily)... This is an app geared towards gay men, as a gay man feeling aroused and in a moment of thinking about other men, ads about meeting women is a great way to ruin that mood as it has several times. Can we agree to at least partner with company's that their ads might actually be looked at maybe.

I can't stand the new app sound when you tap someone. Please change it back.

Adverts that won't close. Adverts that hang the app.
This issue of popup ads that present the [X] to close, that promptly ignores it and opens up the play store or similar and hangs the app all the time having to force close it gotta be fixed. I'm not sure your advertisers would be happy to know that they are wasting money advertising on your horrible app.

When roaming or browsing your faborites should also reset to the new location.
When roaming or browsing your favorites are still based out of your actual location. They do not readjust to the new location. It would be good if they did.

Theme and colour changes
Allow users to change themes and font styles. Request to add more line /words can be inserted in bio
Themes particularly dark mode would be fine and in chats the colours need to change critically as most of the emojis as yellowish they are not seen clearly now

There are multiple filters, yet for some reason there is no filter for ethnicity., Even though ethnicity is something you choose for your own stats so obviously it is important regqrding interests of others
