How about not have advertisements that require not one, not three, but FIVE X button pushes alternating on different sides of the screen.
... Pressing the X button 5 times on a single advertisement just to get back to chat is simply obnoxious and unintuitive and makes me not want to ever use this app ever again. If advertising is the revenue cash cow of modern corporations, allow me to be the exception where I take my time to talk to half naked dudes somewhere that doesn't force me thru a capitalistic hellholl just to get some h*le pics. Hitting one X button on an advert was bad enough. 5 X buttons on alternating corners of the screen is where I say fuck…

Would LOVE to have a MANDATORY field regarding smoking. Hate cigarettes and pot. Would save time knowing upfront if they do.
MANDATORY smoking/vaping yes or no! Hate cigarettes and hate pot even more - complete turn off and knowing beforehand would save a lot of time searching.

MyChart / Grindr link
Allow for linking of MyChart and the Grindr app to verify, std results, prep usage, treatment and such things. Screenshots can be misleading and people can edit those as well!!

People's profiles won't charge
We can all agree that the amount of people we can access in our area is very limited.
I am from a really small country and I know I'm not even getting access to all the people near me on the app.
That aside, when you are chatting and try to access their profile it just won't load. You can go back to the list of profiles ans open them but it won't work, none of them.
Sometimes restarting the app works to get it to load 1 profile, but that's just a really big glitch.1 vote -

More Free things going away on Beta
Every time i turn around . something free for us on Beta goes away...now we use to get 3 unlocks on EXPLORE...now it's 1

Last viewed went away as well we use to be able to view them.. then went to the last one now it's gone . I'm beginning to wonder if this is even worth it anymore .your taking away everything.. BETA People should have some PERKS.2 votes -
Financial Compensation
Grindr should automatically reimburse customers who pay them a lot of money for the never ending parade of glitches. It’s getting worse and worse.
1) half my albums are gone and I haven’t even looked to see if remainder have lost pictures.
2) now all the time I’m chatting someone and get a red “Failed to send” message. Only way to get it working is to turn off phone and turn on again.

Different color screen options?
Hello! I hope this message finds you on a good day when you are in a good mood! I really think GrindR should come out with different message screen and keyboard options/colors for those of us who don't want people to identify our screen, as GrindR (most people knowing it as strictly a gay hookup site and not a dating site or place to chat too) Like if we're just chatting and we're at work... or if we're around family or certain friends. Because currently yellow and black is obviously grindr. Where if it was a similar color to messenger…

Block can be exploited to grab facenpics
I am under the impression that there are screenshot grabbers who exploit the block feature. If someone ask a face pic one has the time to grab a screenshot and block in a second, that is unfair.

Age verification
Please require age verification through ID and Drivers License. This is a serious issue and something that endangers the lives of users on both side of the screen ! We need this to create a safer environment and experience for users, and to restrict underage users from using the platform.

Add Feature: Block contacts & Inclusive access
Adding a feature to block people from the phone contact list would significantly enhance user safety and comfort on Grindr, especially in LGBTQ-prohibited countries like Maldives with a small population. This would provide users with more control over their interactions and help them avoid potential risks or discomfort. Additionally, if the developer team considers implementing this idea, please allow access to all users, regardless of their paid or unpaid status.

Allow custom tags
I know you do not have a tag like abdl however this goes against the purpose of tue app as it makes it hard to find more accurate match. I pay monthly and feel the value for money has gone.

Separate app for trans and admirers
At this point there needs to be a separate app. Even with paid subscription filtering is terrible because many many users don’t fill out gender..
I like MEN. Nothing against trans but for the love of god I can’t keep having to manually block trans profiles or internalised homophobes’ profiles. Sexual orientation is different to gender and lumping everyone together for money and ‘inclusivity’ and being forced to repetitively see naked female trans, sissies, cross dressers is honestly a really disgusting big uncalled for off-putting con for me as someone into other men exclusively.
