Gender filter
Create a Gender filter. This app was once designed for cisgender gay men but now allows all gender roles. I’m not against one expressing their gender identity, but as a cis gay man, I want cis gay men, no cis female or trans.

Distance one is willing to travel
We should have the option of setting the distance willing to travel and have the capability to filter by those who are not in range.

Report Spam = Ad
If Grindr wants us to report bots and fake profiles it shouldn’t launch an ad pop after we report and block. If we report spam no ad!
We should actually get 15 minutes of no ads for reporting. You’d get more users to do it!

Too many ads and most users seem to be bots
App seems like mostly bots in my area app needs improvement which is why I’m rarely on there! If I wanted to chat n sext with ai bots it would be more enjoyable then ones on Grindr. One more like some better options for being discrete!?

Low Power Mode
Upvote if you want more battery life!
Consider introducing a “low power mode” setting for the app. I think most users can agree that Grindr absolutely can tank your phone’s battery, even newer models that have a substantial battery and better power management capabilities. This setting could perhaps reduce the frequency of the app’s location refresh and/or message fetching that can cause higher battery drain, while still giving the user the option to refresh these at their own preference if they should choose. I believe this refresh frequency trade off would be acceptable to many users that wanted to prolong…
