Many users experience frequent unwanted video call attempts from strangers. This can feel intrusive and annoying, especially when they’re just trying to chat or browse.Impact:
It disrupts the user experience, makes people uncomfortable, and sometimes causes them to avoid using the app altogether.Proposed Solution:
Add a “Disable Incoming Video Calls” option in settings — allowing users to choose whether they want to receive video calls or not.Expected Benefit:
It gives users more control over their privacy and creates a more comfortable and respectful environment for everyone.2 votes -
Too Expensive
Even the one-week trial price is way too expensive. There are features that are great for protecting one's privacy being locked behind a paywall thats way too steep.

Ethnicity Filter
Can we bring back the ethnicity filter? It's know the premise of why it was removed was because it was considered racist.. but that is the same as saying being gay is sexist? I cannot help the type of men I like

The Impact of Social Media on Modern Life
Social networking has become one of the most influential aspects of modern life. Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn connect millions of people worldwide, allowing them to share ideas, experiences, and personal milestones instantly. Social media has transformed how individuals communicate, learn, and even conduct business, making it an integral part of daily routines.
One of the primary benefits of social networking is its ability to bridge distances. Friends and family can maintain relationships across continents, and people with similar interests can form communities that would be impossible to find offline. Businesses also leverage social media to reach global…

Everything
Notifications do not work. Chats are unstable since the cloud transition. Search has been removed entirely. Ads are placed to force accidental taps. Popups open unsafe websites without interaction.
This app continues to decline because it holds a monopoly. If users had a viable alternative, Grindr would not survive a week.
Grindr is no longer a platform. It is a trap. It feeds off isolation, exploits its users for ad revenue, and delivers the bare minimum to keep itself running. The developers are not maintaining a community. They are running a slot machine with profile pictures.

Biometriafacial
They should create an album called "ID" in which the person who wants to submit to an identity verification uploads 1 to 3 photos where their face can be seen. And subsequently subjected to a facial biometrics similar to Tinder so that when they share photos from their other albums and we want to confirm the Identity of that person, they send their "ID" where they share the photos of the facial biometrics and the app certifies the identity of the person, each time they modify 1 of the 3 photos in the "ID" album, it will request the facial…

Noisy ads
Mute all ads!
I get it…free usage means ads. But that Evony ad echoes across the hills! I can’t always keep my sound off, and then my location is revealed to cock hounds in close range when I’m subtly checking my messages to confirm a railing appointment. The grunting men sound effects aren’t exactly subtle, either. Apply your commitment to discretion to your ads, and problem will be solved! …almost. Get rid of ads. But then capitalism fails, and then they start rounding up the gays.
Ads are fine. Silent ads.
Thanks.

All my notes in favorites are gone!
Optimal use for Favorites should be for every Grindr user, as it was before.
All my notes to my favorites (I put a lot of effort in) are gone. Hence the app is less functional and less safe. Unbelievable that Grindr did this.
You changed favorites and taps! And not for the better.
Really disappointing. Bring favorites and my notes back!

How to set up laser tag at home
I’m curious about creating a small laser tag setup at home for my kids and their friends. They love Star Wars and video games, so I think this could be fun. But I have no idea what kind of equipment I need or how complicated it is to manage. Does anyone have advice?

STOP FUCKING SPAMMING ADS you cunts and stop asking for AI information consent - I’ve said no every single time I open the app
STOP the fucking ads every 2 seconds you slimy cunts.
And stop asking for AI information consent - I’ve said no every single time the app opens because you apparently don’t take no as an answer and think you can coerce people into consenting (which is ironic for a queer dating/hookup app that’s supposedly progressive)

To curtail spam, you could have an algorithm that marks a profile that taps a profile without viewing the profile previously.

Travel feature is inaccurate
Travel feature sets location to an area that is incorrect. For example, Provincetown, Mass changes to South Boston. Provincetown is either a 90 minute ferry or 2 hour car drive from South Boston.

Unexpected jump in electricity bills
Last month my electricity bill almost doubled, although I did not change my habits or buy new appliances. When I called the supplier, the operator said that they “updated the tariff policy”, but I did not receive any notification. I checked the meter - everything is working correctly, so the reason is definitely not in consumption. Friends also complain that their contracts changed without warning. Has anyone encountered something similar and knows how to check the supplier’s actions for legality?

New Favorites Menu User Status
The old favorites grid showed you how long it had been since someone is online from the favorites “menu” overview, but your new favorites display doesn’t show that without opening a profile which is didadavantageous because people can see that.
