Photo Verification
Having had my photos used on fake profiles as well as having been tricked using faked photos more times than I would like to admit I feel a photo verification process similar to Tinder’s is very necessary to the safety of users.

Be able to mark another profile as your partner
In the same way that on Facebook you can select another person’s profile (with their approval) as the person you are “in a relationship with”—Grindr should allow a similar functionality for couples that each have their own Grindr profile.
When a user has selected their relationship status as something other than “Single” (e.g married, open relationship, etc), it should then give the option to select a profile from your favorites to designate as your “partner”. It would then send the other account a request to accept or deny. If accepted, then each person’s profile would display the other’s account as…

Bring back “Cis Man” as a gender please
Please bring back “cis man” as a gender. As per Grindr current definition Cis-gender people are people whose internal knowledge of their gender is the same as the gender people thought they were when they were born. Yet Cis man, has now disappeared from the gender options. The majority of gay people on your app are attracted to cis men who still have a penis, not nb or “men” with vaginas. Therefore please do not erase cis men, that’s insane.

Hi,
I noticed an increase of fake profiles or scams on this app leading to a not safe community/environment.
Would you consider including a photo verification process like other apps e.g Scruff, Tinder, Hinge?
Would be great to have a symbol in the profile showing it was verified.
I understand that some people are discreet or prefer to have a blank profile, maybe include an option to verify without having the photo in the profile too.
This will help to build a safer environment for people using this app.

Las cuentas paga deben tener mayor protección y derechos,hoy por capricho o despecho te denuncian y te inhabilitan cuenta. No tienes un justo proceso ya que no te informan motivo preciso; aducen incumplir normas y resulta que todos los días muchos lo hacen,si los sacan Grindr queda vacío. LAS APELACIONES A CIERRE DE CUENTA SON UNA BURLA Y AUTOMATIZADAS,NO HAY CONSIDERACION; deberían hacer 1 advertencia,sancionar por semanas o mes,dar pie a crear otra cuenta. Block button on profile view screen not working.
The button reacts to press but no block dialog or blocking occurs. You have to enter a chat with the profile and then block from the triple dot menu and then it works. Android.

FIX MOCK LOCATION
THIS FEATURE WASTES SO MUCH TIME AND REALLY SUCKS BECAUSE IT JUST ALLOWS FOR BAD POOR PEOPLE TO SCAM WESTERNERS.

Stop the non pics on the profile picture
Non pic profiles is really disturbing and make me feel uncomfortable and it landed me to being extorted and I reported it and it never got taken care of by the security team and never got back to me either do something about it
