   Stop showing guys 100 miles away from me like they are local, because I don't see near as many potential guys for me to pick from that are actually close to me, that takes away how many locals I can meet that I can't get to because of that reasoning

5. block "For you" chats

   I do not want Grindr to recommend chats, and I'm certainly not going to pay for the feature. In fact I would block most of the profiles that are listed (first two in list were crossdressers). If Grindr can keep all of its AI profiles in this area and off my grid then it's useful. Otherwise it's waste of space that I don't want to see.

   4. Profile Activation After Approval Only

   Let's put a free option for anyone that just don't want to be sent any kind of content.
   By that I mean : Is it normal to be receiving sexual things as a first message ??? (Or at any other time if not asked. )

    If ads are required to fund grindr, the current obtrusive, irrelevant full page ads will ultimately lead to the app’s demise. You need to partner with local LGBTQ+ organisations, events and companies to integrate a discrete ads stream, or banner in a way which does not interfere with the user experience, and advertises things which may actually be relevant. For example, a local movie showing, local pride event, health supplements, gym memberships, activities, lgbt+ sponsored companies etc. This should provide more revenue to increase free features, decrease the cost of paid features and promote communities, rather than just annoying users with full page unskippable ads for weird game apps.

    Stop ads from interrupting and deleting the message while a message is being typed - incredibly frustrating to have a couple sentences wiped just to get an ad, doubly annoying. At least wait until that message is sent, if you have to!

    It is unbelievable how fast this app changed from being the best to becoming the worst. New changes made this app less thrilling search for free members and extremely EXPENSIVE to subscribe. Trust me, this app won’t last that long…someone out there actually is building the best one unless Grindr does the right things. It’s starting to become corporate greed.
