2. I want my favorites back (and findable)!

   Recently Grindr has changed the access to favorites and notes by making favorites a filter with a maximum for free users. A huge handicap and a reason to use the app a lot less. Not nice!

7. BRING BACK MY CONVERSATIONS!

   We now only have access to the top 2 conversations, and all the others that were previously free, all my previous connections, now I have to pay for them on Xtra... I see what you're doing Grindr, I'd rather change apps then to submit to what you're doing to the users, Im not paying now and I'll definitely not pay in the future, cause you're being hostile about it, you're making it almost impossible to be a functional app, unless we pay you, you zionist cucks, I can't even write "no zionists" in my bio, but "nazis" is all good. I think I'm reaching my last days on this hostile app.

8. Photo ID introduction / Subscription Prices / Reporting Accounts

   Photo ID Verification needs to be introduced due to fake or blank accounts on Grindr globally being used and created on a consistent basis.

   XTRA & Unlimited subscription prices need to be significantly reduced as the price of these subscriptions are not properly justified for the high cost.

   Profile Photos by now should be mandatory and cannot be removed to further prevent blank accounts, each photo must be assessed by Grindr to ensure that a face is in one's photo they upload to again prevent ones from using a random black or white photo which may not have a face in it.

   Reporting accounts for spam and harassment or bullying must be improved and carefully investigated by Grindr when a report gets submitted.

    For some reason, the people who run Grindr want to make their users angry. Every update, they fix one problem, but create five more. You (somehow) still have the most users; this app should be great! Instead, it's a bonfire of problems...

    • The grid...
    • Show me the people in order of distance. That's it! The latest update is now inserting people miles away into the top two/three rows. If they don't have distance on, you've no idea they're miles away.
    • Show people who have boosted in a different colour, or something. Again, I'm not interested in people far away.
    • Enough with the "for you", "explore" in the main grid. No-one wants it. There is a whole "explore" part of the app if I want to view people outside of my area.
    • If I "hide" a profile, it just limits even further the amount of profiles I now see on the grid. I should always get 99 profiles (in the free version at least), regardless of how many I've hidden/blocked. Instead, I now only have ~70 because of people I've hidden.

    • Let us gay men filter out trans women. They're all fake accounts anyway.

    • Block vs hide...
      Another pointless feature designed to push you into upgrading. Let us fully block people again.

    • Favourites tab...
      Bring it back. I don't want to have to keep changing other filters just to see all of my favourites. Again, KISS applies here.

    • Right now...
      This really needs a confirmation popup before starting a "session". It's in a place that's too easily clicked accidentally.

    • Profile inconsistency...
      The online and favourite markers, and distance values aren't consistent across the app when viewing the same profile, e.g. between the grid and the messages tab, and elsewhere as well.

    • Spam accounts...
      You really need to implement some sort of verification system. I'm getting taps and messages, apparently from hundreds of miles away, from clear bots spamming other websites and OF accounts, many times a day. Maybe even something as simple as getting a user to verify their email address?

    • Adverts...
      I understand you have to make money. But forcing a full screen ad every other minute when you're just scrolling, or even typing a message, is infuriating. I do like the new "watch an ad to unlock read receipts" feature, however. Get rid of the random popups, and implement more of these watch-an-ad-for-an-extra-feature. I'm sure you'd make more money from higher quality views this way.

    • Testing before an update...
      I'm not convinced you even have a testing department. Obvious bugs that just shouldn't exist, and features completely broken in every single update.

    • Subscription prices...
      I will never consider upgrading, when the basic features of the app rarely work as intended. You just can't trust that any extra features would work as well, and reading reviews, they don't. Prices are way too high anyway. £6 for an hour on "right now". Ridiculous...

    I could go on further, but I've stuck to the main points. I'd be surprised if this gets read, but I've tried to be constructive.

11. It doesn't deliver the contacts it used to without wading through a bunch of slop (ads and profiles).

    I realize that development is expected and ads bring money, but I would suggest that the app take a look back to early times, when it was simple. Now that the users have transformed and adjusted to Grindr norms and learned their tricks and fakes around things, go back to your roots and say "what made us great?". The companies that become over-developed, chase trends or sell out to too many income streams become irrelevant faster. The basics and keeping it somewhat raw can extend a brand's longevity beyond the competition. I was a paying member from nearly day one, until the big booty profiles slammed the app this year. Now, as non-paying, it is such a pain in my ass to play whack-a-mole w the ads just to get through to limited profiles near me (who I'm tired of) and then be asked to pay for more options. No thanks, a cup of coffee and beating off sounds a whole lot better. Logoff!

13. Grindr constantly Trying to upsell memberships when currently I am constantly spammed and without user verification this app does

    I’m paying for basically nothing. I still get ads spam constantly without having user verification. It has turned into a cesspool of catfishing , spamming & other users allowed to undermine the apps credibility because there’s no validation of who they are. Maybe you should start verifying people and would actually become a useful app again.

14. Interesting online games for the evening

    Me and my crew were scoffing kebabs at a night market, yarning about big wins. Decided to check out an online casino for giggles. Got onto Spinago Casino from Australia, and its cool look with heaps of slots and roulette is tops. Mobile-friendly too. Honestly, it was like a tasty wrap, made our night proper lively and buzzing.

    Not transphobic but there has to be a fine line between gays looking for gays and guys looking for fem/trans. It seems more than half of the profiles I look at are looking for trans only, and this is very annoying being gay... A new app, or strong filters are necessary. Please don't make me stop using my favorite app due to such a silly reason

17. Better "for you"

    This "for you" feature is practically useless, it almost always exclusively has profiles which do not share any common tags with you and are almost always people in completely different cities, it's useless to be recommended people that are 5 hour driving distance from you with absolutely no common interests. At the very least they should be people who share tagged interests with you.

18. Distance filter

    Distance filter that allows you to set max distance:
    Club - Profiles under 20 meters
    Building - Profiles under 50 meters
    Block - Profiles under 100 meters.
    Neighbourhood - Profiles under 500 meters

    That kind of thing. A quick way to tell if anyone is even remotely close, the "nearby" of 20km is crazy. Especially in bigger cities with multiple bars in the same city block, even customizable distance feature would be nice.

    The favorite section is mashed with browser now. Only when it was a different section, you had the option to see when people were last active and at what distance without entering their profile, which is a big deal when there is a "viewed me" section !! PUT IT BACK WHERE IT WAS PLEASE

20. Fake profiles reported= incentives

    Since you don’t screen profiles when they are made, and it seems people on the grid do more security then you do. Once people have successfully reported fake profiles or bots maybe they can get a prize, like a free week of grindr x or something like that. Since it is almost a daily occurrence for getting fake profiles in your dms
