6. Hostilidad en Grindr y cambio de imagen.

   Grindr es una buena red para contactarme con chicos. Pero hay un problema con respecto a la psicología agregada de la red social, podría entender que muchos están en el anonimato por estar en el closet o etc. Sin embargo la modificación del logotipo y la utilización de otros colores podrían modificar el comportamiento de las personas en esta red social (es como los colores de algunos restaurantes de comida rápida; son puestos así para que la gente salga rápido) Grindr a través de los años se han percatado de problemas con personas que actúan con hostilidad, cambios de humor, ambigüedad sexual no positiva. . . Y estoy mega seguro que todo cambiaría si cambian la forma del logotipo; dónde el sonríe no está mal por cierto. Los colores a colores menos hostiles (azul/blanco/gris). .. ya ustedes cómo servicio o aplicación son mega famosos por favor. Entiendan porque si cambian estoy seguro que el abanico mental de los gays que están acá cambiaría a menos hostilidad.

10. Different color text bubbles

    Please give an option to have a high contrast theme or different colors for the text bubbles in messages. As someone with vision issues it is hard to read the iOS emojis default color against the gold background in the text bubble.

11. Flagging Frequent "Ghosters"

    TL;DR: Allow users to flag when someone they're talking to has ghosted them; potentially showing it on their profile if the user is consistently flagged. Maybe this is a premium feature.

    Allow users to flag when a user with whom they've established a dialogue (setting an objective threshold to be exceeded e.g. an exchange of two or more messages from each user on at least two separate days*) has abruptly ceased contact with them (i.e. ghosting).

    Consider showing which users are consistently flagged as a premium upgrade or subjecting consistently flagged users to a cooldown on sending new messages if it is a recurring problem (as ghosting cannot possibly be good for someone's mental health; I'm sure there's data on this**, but it is harmful, wreckless, and potentially dangerous behavior). A distinction must be made between users who ghost each other and conversations that just fizzle out. Consider only escalating to the premium flagging or cooldown option if a threshold is exceeded. This might be a percentage of their active dialogues (but you'd have to define "active".

    You would also need to account for the passage of time. Anyone on the platform long enough is probably going to ghost X amount of people, so maybe this only applies to flags issued within a given period of time.

    Maybe more specifically two separate 24-hour periods or something to account for communications taking place immediately before and after midnight.
    *If there isn't data on this, then there absolutely needs to be.

    there is a lake !! why doesn't the app recognize this fact ?? it says someone is 6 miles away , but they are ACTUALLY 24 miles away because of the giant body of water i live on that you have to drive around ????!!!! it would BE 5 miles IF i had a boat ....but i don't

    I would like to suggest adding a user verification feature on Grindr to confirm the authenticity of profile pictures. This feature would allow users to verify their identity by submitting a quick photo or video that matches their profile, which could then display a verified badge. This would greatly reduce the risk of “catfishing” by ensuring that the person in the photos is actually the one behind the account. It would provide users with more confidence and safety when interacting, making the app a more trustworthy space for real connections.

    BLOCK - Do you not understand that you might use blocking to remove co-workers, friends or family from each others views?????????? I do not want people who work for or with me to see my profile, pictures, or preferences. Totally asinine that you have removed this. Hiding does nothing - I can see those I have hidden are viewing my profile. You clearly do not care about our privacy as paying customer. WILD!

    There is pop-up " lose the ads.find more profiles" this pop-up keeps on coming despite removing multiple times. Due to this many a time we are unable to access our profile settings etc. to access we have to completely shut down the app and restart again. Kindly fix this issue on priority.

    How about an App. Called Findhr for our lesbian community. I live in West Hollywood CA. I love Grindr and it keeps me connected and has for years.
    You possibly could use the exact same format/platform you are using for Grindr. Turn the logo pink call it Findhr and I believe you would have an amazing product ready to go
