Please stop removing gender filter
I often use the gender filter to get female and trans hookups, it's very difficult to do so without the filter because most of them become xtra profiles blocked by the paywall. Please stop removing this feature because I will not use the app without it.

The hide feature is fuking useless
This feature is either bugged or just doesn't work because I've "hidden" numerous profiles but they are still popping up on my grid. Can we just go back to the old block profile option that actually worked. the more you add to the app the worse you make it to use

We need a way to block back people
It should be possible to block a user that blocked you. Lots of times guys try to catfish me and sometimes when I catch them they block, then try again with a different setting for their profile, all this because I can block a profile that block me first, all other social networks has this profile, I don’t need to be able to see the whole conversation or the profile itself but should be a way to do it, like keep it in the messages tab with all messages sent by the user removed / deleted, don’t know, but, I’m…

Bring back the favorites tab
I completely agree with everyone here—removing the Favorites tab has made things so much harder. Having to use filters every time is really inconvenient, especially when you just want to quickly check in with your favorite people.
While waiting for Grindr to (hopefully) bring the tab back, I started using an app called Skyblaze (https://skyblaze.app/) to keep track of my favorite contacts and notes. It’s not a direct replacement, but it helps me stay organized and find people more easily. Maybe it could help others here too until Grindr improves things!

Ummm do a better job at banning the correct people
How come you can’t block out fake accounts or people who steal photos but ban random accounts and their ip addresses over nothing???? What is the whole point of being on this app if you can’t even use it anymore because they block you

Block All Female Sex Worker Profiles!
I am constantly inundated by profiles (with obviously fakes pics) from supposed trans female sex workers on here. On at least 3 occasions, the individual contacting me stated that they were under 18 (I took screenshots in each case to have on-hand if they are ever needed for legal reasons). It is extremely disappointing that Grindr freely allows women on this site now, let alone women who try to offer paid sexual services to gay men (the stupidity of which is astounding!). These days I seem to spend at least 50% of my time on Grindr trying to block female…

I would like to be able to block from the Home Screen by long press hold. Currently, when a user long press and hold we get three options I am blocking is not one of them. There is so much spam on the app that blocking should be able to be Dunn from the home screen without having to adventure into the users profile.

Unsolicited dick pics
You moderate inappropriate profile pictures. There has to be a way to prevent the visual assault of male frontal nudity. For me personally, it triggers traumatic sexual molestation memories and I get nauseous, it never ends . I put on my headline “no dick pics”. A lot of people probably send them because I say that. I’ve left the app several times, but I come back because it’s sucks having to explain what transgender is to guys on Tinder. Sending an unsolicited nude pic is a misdemeanor crime in Texas. There must be something you can do. Blur and ask…

Give us a bodybuilder tag
So far the only tags we have related to fitness is the muscle tag and weightlifting tag but any average person can add that to their profile. bodybuilders are on a whole different level and we should have a way to find each other

Feature: Expiring/disappearing messages
A useful feature would be to have an expiring/disappearing messages option on chats. 30 days, 90 days etc. Obviously there's a balance here, but having just logged on after two years away from the app, and then being able to see photos and messages I sent to people, as well as the photos they sent to me from two years ago is troubling.
I was under the impression messages were deleted after 12 months but that cannot be the case.

Feature: Message tagging. Good/Avoid or flag colours
A decent paid feature would be to be able add tags to messages and see those tags when your on the messages tab.
For example, you could tag a message with a flag colour or tag word. Useful for engaging with the people you do want to talk to and spending less time on those you don't.
