   When you share an album for several years and you reach out 5000 sharings, the Grindr doesnt give you an opportunity to share after that and you face an error.

7. What’s With The Ad Bombing?

   So basically you’ve now made Grindr un-usable by “ad bombing”, unless you pay a ridiculous price for Unlimited ($52.00 CAD). The X-tra is useless as you may as well pay the extra 30$ to get unlimited. At least offer packages with discounts. Like Annual, bi-annual or quarterly packages, but with a % discount. Grindr Unlimited otherwise is worth I’d say $30 CAD Maximum per month. The way you’ve now completely ad bombed the free membership is ridiculous and is going to drive people literally insane. I was tolerant of the ads before cuz I get it, it pays for the free basic memberships. But the amount of ads is so ridiculous that I actually juts close out the app and reopen it as it’s quicker than watching the whole ad. Now on a low-income (not all gay people are rich), for my own mental sanity I have to pay $50 CAD / month + tax juts to try and get my dick sucked by somebody that is either 1. Fake 2. A Flake or 3. Blank profile.

   I’ve used Grindr since the Dawn of the smart phone, it’s kind of the pioneer of the hook up apps, maybe it’s time to hand the reigns over to a newer app company that listens to its customers instead of doing the opposite. The “for you” is a joke. There is. Never even 1 person I would consider “my type”!, they are typically barely legal and 20 some odd years younger than me.

   Or maybe just start over. Scrap the whole thing start from the beginning. A new App a new beginning You will start to lose customers. I’m probably gonna go back to using Scruff and Squirt more now for sure. My Unlimited expires today I’m not sure I’m gonna renew it.

    This feature is a literal cockblock paywall feature. It shallow attempt to get people to subscribe to the premium version of the app by heavily restricting the people that are in your radius and nearby. It is disappointing and condescending that they think we still believe they care for this community.     With the recent update, the visibility of Taps in the free version has been significantly reduced. In practice, this means that Taps often disappear before I even have a chance to see them — whether I’m at work, asleep, or simply unavailable for a short time.

    A feature that was previously free and functional has now been made nearly unusable unless one pays a considerable fee. I find this disappointing and user-unfriendly. I strongly urge you to consider making Taps visible for a more reasonable timeframe (e.g. 24 hours), so users have a fair opportunity to respond.

From there you add a filter option that reads something like 'only show people in the same Country". For those living in border cities who can deal with cross-border travel and would like to have the option, just leave the filter unchecked. For the rest of us in border cities who do not want to see people in their neighboring country, the filter can then be used and only show people in the user's home Country
