In Video calls, to prevent catfishing: an indicator for whether there's a face in the video stream.
The easiest way to make sure you're not getting catfished is to just do a video call.
Now some deceitful people cover their cams, or point the screen elsewhere so only their ear/cheek is visible.
Can we have a simple algorithm that checks for the existence of a face on either end before it lets the call connect?
Till the time he shows his face, he doesn't get the video stream going.
Of course there are many other refinements possible along the same lines.
What do you folks think?

Grindr discreet
I think the name Grindr from apple settings and mobile data setting could either be changed to GDR so it is less obvious if friends or family use phone and Gdr will not give the game away please implement this as that way I can use my phone freely around others instead of accidentally going into settings and quickly having to hide it or my friends and family accessing settings and seeing Grindr the discreet app icon is good but the settings and mobile data and the name is obvious

Favorites and safety
Hi,
When someone ads you to their favorites, you cannot find out, unless you pay I believe, but this is a MAJOR safety issue.
Being a victim of rape and abuse, there are some of these psychopaths that have done harrassment in the past. I've had to change numbers, address etc because I had to make sure they wouldn't find me and I'll spare you the worst parts of all of this.... Stop unwanted Photos
Be able to set a default that you don’t accept any photos, Unless you chat with them OR add a switch to the chat to allow someone to send photos. STOP THE FLASH, I get it’s a hook up app but like dang man. Sometimes you have a nice convo and open another chat in public and POOF there is a hole.

Turn on/turn off
So like Facebook has the online offline feature and I know this application has an incognito feature. I think there should also be an online offline feature that lets you turn off your visibility to others still be able to search and talk to others. The difference between this and incognito would be that incognito lets you be off or not visible to others still see people who are online and interact. A setting, where you have a profile picture on, but you can choose to only have it seen by other people who have a profile picture on
In india at least, far too many people have blank profiles, which are used to stalk / catfish etc other people. Which is why most people prefer not to post a picture of themselves. And then it gets to a point when pictures are to be shared and it’s a “you first” game going on. It’s annoying and ends up being inconsequential.
What if, people could put on their profile pictures, which are only visible to people who have pictures of themselves on. 🤷♂️

Fraudulent stealing app developers
So it has come to my attention ever since I have been targeted for about the past 3 years every aspect of my life is almost been controlled and it began with my phone being hacked. I stood up to someone who has a platform and it occurred to me that individuals on Grindr started to block me based upon a body type which is a fat behind and also upon anything monetary. Restore “Report a Recent Chat” feature
You list “Report a Recent Chat” as a security option, but your instructions are outdated or inaccurate because ”Report a Recent Chat” is not listed under Settings, as you claim it is. Someone is currently trying to extort me that I met through your app, and I should have the ability to report him. It was a recent chat. Also, in general: require a verification for everyone (even DL guys, which this app caters to too much in lieu of safety). Ban people who are known cat fishers from creating multiple accounts.
