Expansion of body types
Adding slim to average and perhaps average to stocky to body type genre
I don’t fit slim or average , I have to waste valuable realestate stating I’m SLM to SLM-AVG build
I feel this would assist everybody as people’s definition of average (as with most things) varies
Clearly having a less rigid genre list would assist people in better describing themselves
As it stands we have beanpoles ( no offence as I love skinny guys) & peeps bordering on chubby describing themselves average
We have slim guys who clearly are not average but like myself (not slim slim) not…

Lgbtq fundamentals
Too many users identify as allies but they know very little about trans competency. I think grindr has an opportunity and responsibility to help inform users about hot to communicate with people they're not used to experiencing. This will help people like myself get misgendered less and help make more meaningful connections.

Side position description
I would love a feature where just like under “identity”, you can click next to “position” to lookup the definition. Side is a relatively new term and an information icon that would bring up a similar window would take a lot of the guess work out of conversations and would save a lot of “about me” space.

Please implement the safe sex option
Due to the emergence of prep, a lot of guys engage in bareback anal sex. Please include a drop down menu for us to indicate whether we have sex with prep, condoms or both. I myself find it increasingly difficult to find guys who still are okay with using condoms.

Femme tribe
Unfortunately the femme tribe option doesn't exist. We only have "Twink" or Trans but they dont really fit. There alot of fem guys but its hard to find them without this.

Allow the app to reset the fine-tuning search results upon exit and reentry
If you forget that you had previously checked the box in the fine-tuning search criteria and then you go back into the app later on it keeps those same filters alive and then you start to wonder after a while why the grid looks different and why nobody in your area is on there. That happened to me a few times and I realized it I had left the filter turned on and I just at that moment been looking for a friend of mine that was in the area and I had put in the age bracket to narrow…

Bator and JO are two different activities and Grindr should NOT be conflating them. It causes great confusion and makes no sense.
Bator and JO are not the same thing. Why are you excluding an entire group of people (discrimination) by removing an accurate description and replacing it with something completely different. Is Grindr trying to suppress a certain group? Why the hate and discrimination?

New Category called ‘Wide’
New category called Wide: just a bit opposite of side, someone who doesn’t enjoy giving oral and is interested only in the real deal, which is fucking using condom/on prep. I know many people who are not interested in sucking just to get some dick. I feel it’s kinda derogatory when the top is not interested in satisfying the bottom mutually with oral sex (rimming). Also, lot of STD are transmitted through oral sex than anal if uses proper protection. This would category will really help many bottoms who are often looked down and called cock suckers.
