"Looking for" section
Profiles should offer a "looking for" age range. Also, some users use "tags" to describe themselves (which is probably the correct purpose), whereas others use it to describe what they want. Same with "Tribes" (is it what describes me? Or what I'm looking for?). Create a "Looking For" section to make this kind of thing explicit. Would save everyone time and lots of bad feeling.

Filter for ethnicity
Dear Grindr, we know you have a lot to offer us, but I ask for one thing that will help many! I really like people, but I have an ethnic preference, I like black guys and that makes me feel passionate; Could you add ethnicity to the filters? If the person is white, Asian, black, etc.
Please, I need black friends or a boyfriend, but all I see are white people! :(

Let people identify as chasers. Right now, as a chub who is not usually into other chubs, there’s no way for me to search for chasers.
It’s simple. Let people identify as chasers like other apps do. I’m canceling my premium account because this app is useless if I can’t find guys that I’m into who are also into me.

Where is the "Hairy dick" Tag?
I think it's past time for @Grindr to add this tag. The hairy tag is not enough, as not every hairy guy has a hairy dick. There are people who also have a fetish for this, Grindr.

Grid too short
For community members living in endangered areas like mine in Iraq, are facing difficulties with how few profiles the grid shows. This has not been the issue always but with continuous updates that’s the problem I’ve come to see myself and friends used to. But this shouldn’t be the case since it hasn’t always been. Basically 30-40 profiles grid in such places is a call for me to use grindr as little as possible since it’s even harder to find people more of my type or even that have a real profile around such place. I’d like to suggest an optional filter or profile field related to penis size.
I understand this topic can be sensitive, but many users already express size preferences in their bios, often in ways that are exclusionary or uncomfortable. Having a discreet, optional way to indicate this would allow users to connect more honestly and avoid awkward or hurtful situations.

A feature let's us control how close we want profiles to be so thet the app presents profiles within the selected distance
There should be a feature that allows the user to select a specific distance e.g 1km/mile so that the user can be able to receive a grid of profiles within that selected distance. This should also apply to users who choose not to display their distance

Country filter
A simple solution would be on signup it will use your current location as your home Country and/or have you choose your Country of residence. From there you add a filter option that reads something like 'only show people in the same Country". For those living in border cities who can deal with cross-border travel and would like to have the option, just leave the filter unchecked. For the rest of us in border cities who do not want to see people in their neighboring country, the filter can then be used and only show people in the user's home…

Do the tags we add to our profile define us or what we are looking for. Make it clear
If i add chub or reader as a tag to my profile is that me or is that what i want. Why cant we have two sections where we can put both the kinds of tags. And filters can then be more effective.

Il faudrait qu’on puisse choisir de voir uniquement les profils qui se trouvent dans le même pays que nous. Car quand nous sommes dans une ville limitrophe avec un autre pays, nous voyons plus de profils de l’autre pays que celui dans lequel nous nous trouvons. C’est très pénible.

So far the only tags we have related to fitness is the muscle tag and weightlifting tag but any average person can add that to their profile. bodybuilders are on a whole different level and we should have a way to find each other
