   I understand ads, but they are frequent and LONG. I don't want/need all the features of Extra and Unlimited. I just want to not spend HALF my time watching Ads instead of using the app. Maybe a $10/mo or $100/yr option to remove ads? I'd pay that...

4. Allow users to tap on profiles when viewing shared albums

   Previously, when viewing photo albums that other users shared with me, I could access the original profile of each user by clicking the top left icon within the album view. This feature seems to have been removed. Highly recommend bringing it back - it was very useful being able to go back to the original user profiles when viewing album pictures.

6. Bad for the users

   This app poses a significant threat to the mental health to its users. The impulsive risky actions that the app encourages is not good for the users. If Grindr wanted to make a difference in the LGBTQ+ community it should change how the app functions. The app should function similar to serious dating apps. This would improve the mental health of the community. The app is connects the users to the good feeling of sex, which causes them to continually use the app when it is not in their best interest.

8. Destroy the app & shut down your organization

   If you guys can't maintain or improve an existing app, better shut it down!! It has become trash that I won't even wanna use on gunpoint.
   It's tremendously slow, messages don't go, of they're sent, it doesn't show up. Unable to resend a failed message. Profies don't load at all or take long time. No notifications for received message or tap. Chat history takes hours to load & still some chats are missing.
   Do something if you consider yourself worthy & if you wanna exist in the market!! WAKE UP 😡

    Been using Grindr for several years. This morning, when I went to login on the web-based version, I get a message "Recaptcha error, please disable your ad-blockers and try again." Really???? I have ad blockers on for a reason, and that should have nothing to do with a Grindr subscription for which I am paying a lot of money. Get it together!

12. DISAPPOINTED USER

    The fact you guys are raising the hell out of premium making the community exclusive is ridiculous, it’s a slap in the face and an obvious money grab, took away the ability for general taps and viewed me which should of just been free in general ALONG with every other feature. The white oriented bots are a slap in the face as well and racistt and y’all are allowing DL/Straight men to take over the app instead of the gays/trans/bi( that actually been on there, it’s disgusting and grindr has been ruined and getting worse.

13. Ads

    I stayed away for 2 years and after only one day the ads have gotten worse. If you're struggling that much to get and make money then maybe it's time to think of something else because these ads are going to cause you to lose me and many many other people and the advertisers are not going to see any results from their advertising when they're forced down our throats. It's very obtrusive and spammy. I know I read that Grindr is not doing well but pushing ads in our face is not going to help your revenue it's going to turn people off and cause them to delete there's many of other options out there that don't spam you all the time. I can't even respond to somebody sending me a message without having to watch a stupid ad and wait for the x to show up that's so small you can't even see it. And then I have to see if you don't want ads click here and I have to swipe that away it's just really damn annoying. I really hope you guys do something about this or you going to lose me and many many more and I can see I'm not the only one that's complaining. If you're having trouble with revenue then maybe you need someone else to run this company

15. Old messages come through again as if new

    Sometimes message notifications for messages that were previously received (and read) sometimes minutes - sometimes days ago come through again as if they’re new. This seems particularly common if you go back into an old message thread and then move away from it. Annoying glitch.

16. The "Downfall" of GrindR.

    I am not sure which is more unfortunate: that, the C-Suites of GrindR have been flushing this app down further in the shitter over the span of a decade now..
    ..Or, that, in 2024, there somehow remains an entire fleet of people (presumably over the age of 25) who come here to complain about GrindR's shittiness, as if they're relaying brand-spanking new information for the rest of us.

    I could only wish, that the next time any one of you thinks to register a complaint, on GrindR's UserVoice: right before you click on Post idea you get automatically re-directed here, to my post.

    That way, there's a better chance for you to learn how George Arison and his cronies have done jack shit for GrindR, besides conscientiously-going out of their way make it worse and worse as the years push forward.

    How, it may very well be possible: if George is allowed to remain in charge, then in 5 years' time, GrindR will (hopefully) be no more.

17. Add a button to return to the profile from a user’s album

    If you’re going to have a catalog of every album you’ve received, they should link back to the profile that sent them. It’s not ideal to receive messages only from album photo comments.
