   Grinder is nothing but a suck ass app know days it doesn't operate right too many glitches to many bot trans profiles grinder got rid of things that we still want ethnicity filter and we want the block button black the distance don't match up with google maps its way off that needs to be fixed and grinder trying to get rich by price gouging price is way too high i can go on and on with what's wrong with grinder but grinder should know what they need to do, and fix it all and make Grinder the number one dating app like it once was

3. The amount of intrusive ads, autoplay videos it’s very abusive and gross business practices, UNETHICAL

   The amount of intrusive ads, autoplay videos, and forced subscription pressure has become unacceptable, it’s very abusive.

   This no longer feels like a usable free app, it feels intentionally broken to push people into paying. That’s not ethical design, it’s coercion. It’s obviously being done so people give pay but subscription prices are wildly inflated for what you get and doesn’t even remove all ads.

   If this continues, I will stop using Grindr altogether. Many users already feel the same way.

4. Not delivering messages if not paying

   Today I started paying for unlimited Grindr and straight away started receiving replies from guys I messaged several months ago who’d never replied at the time, even though I had been a regular paying member. Which I find a bit suspicious.
   Is Grindr deliberately limiting the effectiveness of the app for non Unlimited members?

6. For those who dont subscribe, some kind of spam-bot, douche -nozzle filter

   For the most part sometimes its as convenient as hitting the block, hide, or delete chat option but after awhile these profiles tend to hit with some frequency and cause a detraction which then causes a headache. Theyre easy enough to spot, but the system could use some much needed filtration allowing us to dedicate more of our time to socializing.

12. Disappearing chat

    I've had multiple occasions where a chat simply disappears. According to Grindr's support both this can be because of several things, they blocked me, they deleted their profile or they were banned.

    I think there should be an option to see why they are suddenly disappearing mid conversation. It sucks when you're having a decent conversation and suddenly you're busy responding to a question and the chat disappears.

    Personally I think this is a bug but if not I think we should know if the guy was banned, like hey the guy who just disappeared was banned because he threatened someone. Or "Sorry he's not interested, you can't contact him anymore"

    Hello Team,

    I would like to suggest a new safety feature: "Message Requests".

    The Feature: Instead of allowing direct messages from anyone instantly, the app should notify the recipient that "Profile X wants to send you a message," giving the user the option to Accept or Decline before the chat opens.

    Why it is important: This feature is crucial to prevent harassment, verbal abuse, and unwanted interactions. Allowing users to screen incoming chats from strangers would greatly improve user safety and mental well-being on the platform.

14. Distance algorithm

    The distance algorithm is now showing a mixture of people in random distance, and guys on favorites list who are nearby and online aren’t in the grid at all! What is going on? Zero interest in a dude 20-80 miles away regardless if app thinks he’s my type or not. And guys I have a connection with are nowhere to be seen in the grid unless filtering.

    Share profiles , like if I want my friend to see a hot guy. . I want to be able to share the hot guys profile with my friends. The hot guy receives notification that their profile was shared but they wont be able to see who share the profile unless they were an extra subscriber. People should be able to choose if they're profile is shareable or not

    I am confused about what the “trips” will do if I set it. Will it do the same thing as “roam” and place my profile in the location I am traveling to. Or would it just be visible to people where I am right now? Also does roaming and having your profile visible in another location mean that you wouldn’t show up wherever you actually are while you have the roam feature on?
