1. Bring back the auto-refresh!

   I have seen alot of people here wanting to get rid of it, or maybe it's been "Completed" already, but as a minority, please bring it back!
   It was the intended behavior of the app that I used to know. Now it feels broken.

   The thumbnails/Nearby profiles do not refresh whenever I do it manually (swipe down gesture) many times! I have to open another Maps/Google Maps app and re-center my location there, then go back to Grindr in order for the refresh of the profiles to take effect. This is time-consuming and inconvenient!

   To others who find the auto-refresh annoying & complain alot: you know what, people move all the time, they drive, walk, jog, they go from point A to B always. It's the fact of life.
   If you find someone interesting, then favorite that profile, and let people who are not near from you stay where they should be---in their rightful, real-time location.

4. Display in Grid users with chat history

   Display in Grid via an icon the profiles I have chatted with before (similar like its already available in the favorites view). Could also be integrated in the profile preview (when doing a long tap on the profile picture in the grid)

5. Direction to a shared location via Maps app

   When a user has shared his location to me I want to access the directions to this location in Google Maps or Apple Maps.
   This makes it it much easier to navigate to his location then within the Grindr shared location/map.

7. Getting blocked and having no idea why. Would love to know why guys block you even if the conversation seemed to be going well.

   Be able to send one more message to someone who blocked you. There’s tons of reasons someone blocked you but I think that if the blocker was liking your pics and has at least sent like 10 messsages to you, you should be able to at least send them one more message to try and appeal the block. Or at least allow people to give a reason why they blocked you. Like there’s different main reasons you can select, then you have the ability to type exactly why you are blocking this person now knows exactly why you blocked them. Cause it sucks when you get blocked and having no idea why. Would love to know why guys block you even if the conversation seemed to be going well.

10. Stop making the free app suck

    my suggestion would be stop making the free version of the app more difficult and restricting features and inundating with ads, hoping people will upgrade. What seems to be happening is the free users are going other places making it less enticing for the people who pay to stay on This platform!

    Just a thought, but if people have a difficult time using it and don’t enjoy the user experience, they’re going to go other places they’re not gonna be like oh let me pay for the privilege of using this.

11. IP address and grindr misdirection

    I am aware of at least 4 IP addresses which seem to take an app user to a Grindr impersonation website and also then causes phone device compromise (mobile-data.onetrust.io). This can lead to coercive controlling behaviours by those running the pretend Grindr

    Grindr.mobi resolves to 104.17.140.120 and 104.17.139.120 and web.Grindr.com 104.16.234.5 and 104.16.235.5
    Grindrx.com resolves to 15.197.142.173 and 3.33.152.147. None of these are correct and if the device’s dns is poisoned then misdirection occurs. Serious organised crime seem to use this to recruit modern day slaves and criminals also use the lack of any oversight to prevent men enjoying themselves (sexually) and a homophobic environment
    Grindr.uservoice.com has 5 IP addresses!

    104.17.31.92 104.17.28.92 104.17.30.92 104.17.27.92 and 104.17.29.92

    Look for these IPs and URLs in the app privacy report of an iPhone

    This needs law enforcement’s attention as not only is it damaging Grindr Inc reputation but harming the men that fall prey to the crime gangs

16. Please install verification of identity and verify std results .

    A major issue is being making fake accounts and still not knowing if someone is telling the truth about their std status . I think you should include another category to input your results as just another way to show proof and collaboration with any medical company to add a qr code and having it like to someone’s results in a private way without leaking personal data. The other I think would be solid is finally implementing id verification for that extra trust that someone is not catfishing someone or making fake profile

    The problem is the company itself. They don’t care about your issues or the fact that you can’t find real love because of how woke and horrible this company is. My type of guy shouldn’t start 600 miles away. There’s attractive people all around and I believe this company hides them to force you to talk to a person on non interest.

    Guys keep sending me dick pics. I have it in my profile title and description both that I don't want unsolicited nudes, and accepts NSFW pics set to never. Guys still send unsolicited nudes, they don't read. Grindr has already shown that they don't bother persecuting these people because nothing has changed. Make all photos censored upon sending with a "click to open" button similar to Whisper chats. This way I have a chance to ask if the picture is a nude or a face pic and I'm not just getting blindsided with a random dick in my inbox. If you're worried about this making Grindr users pissy, then make it a feature that can be activated on my account. Don't make it a premium feature, because it's not about convenience or ease of use, it's about stopping sexual harassment.
