Correct the errors when we want to check taps and the app shut down
The app on IOS always shut down when I try to check taps and this error has continued for over two months!

Adding two positions to your profile.
With the addition of the position "side" you have made it a little bit more difficult for the other "position-types".
With the added "side" it sounds like tops and bottoms only look for anal sex. So future users will look at us as being anal only.
So my suggestion is that you can add two position on your profile. For examble top+side, vers+side or btm+side. That way tops and btms won't get excluded in a "side" filter search, if people think only sides do blowjobs. smiling

Grindr Affinity
Since the removal of the ability to filter by race I have struggled to make meaningful connections with communities of color. My physical location is predominantly white and I continue to experience high levels of racism overs and implicit, microaggression, or just simply being blocked because being black is not someone’s “type”. This has caused a great deal of psychological harm personally and fueled feelings of loneliness. More characters in the about
In the interest of providing more comprehensive and detailed information, it is recommended that the character limit in the 'About' section be expanded. The current limit of 255 characters could potentially restrict the depth and scope of content that can be included. Therefore, it would be beneficial to increase this limit to a minimum of 500 characters. This would provide ample space for users to fully express and describe pertinent details, thus improving the overall quality and effectiveness of the 'About' section.

Make tribe filter free again
It’s impossible to search tribes now without paying, showing max 3 people, making it even harder than before for trans people to actually find other trans people, that was already difficult with the amount of non trans people in the trans tribe.

Living at a border crossing I have a lot of issues using the app as I keep getting men from the US and I am in Canada.
I would love to filter by country as I find I waste a lot of time either chatting with people to find they are not in Canada.
It’s pretty annoying and causes me to use other apps instead.

Distance is incorrect, I'm in Rockland MA, yet it is showing others from over 100+ miles away. I think I am going to delete my account from Grindr all together. It has been inaccurate for a few months now, and I am tired of trying to correct my ad, to make it come out right.

Be able to flag profiles of guys who are unsafe
Had someone over the other night who was literally unstable. After a little while of casual hanging out, he started to have a nervous breakdown. He started arguing that my apartment wasn't mine (i even showed him my ID to try to get him to relax). He started asking why I had hired people to kill him (I told him that I didn't even know what his last name was and certainly didn't want any harm to come to him). ended up having to call 911 to have police officers come and remove him from my apartment. Better search and filtering
We all are attracted to a type and not just to a species in its entirety. Other Apps allow to search for those who share your likes and desires. You need to get on message so customers can search for those they seek

Grind”hers” for lesbian, female and/or trans and trans attracted/curious community.
Sometimes I worry about the wrong person showing up at a meet up for some of my trans friends. I feel like a grind”her” for trans women at any stage would help prevent confusion and keep things in the open.

Age of profile displayed publicly
I’m getting harassed by this one guy who keeps creating new profiles and that led me to realize that it would be wonderful if it was possible to display the date/month and year of profile creation publicly - that way you would know who’s out there to harass you and who’s been around for much longer (i.e. they must be legit). I’m getting tired and anxious of this one particular person trying to catfish me (I’m probably not alone) and it’s not easy to report that kind of stuff, so such an indicator would be very helpful.

Fake ID through front camera
Fake people are always present, and the biggest problem of this app.
There’s the need of an AI system that verifies INTERNALLY the face of the person through the front camera for every photo added containing a face (this would be totally private and it would mantain privacy).
In this way if i ask for a facepic to anyone it will be shure it’s him. If the photo added didn’t contain a face this tool would not be used, but at least i would know it’s not a fake through him sending his face, that surely would correspond to his…4 votes -
