Could you please prevent users with empty profiles and without face pics from contacting me?
I made it clear on my profile what I don’t want. But it seems they don’t know how to read. It’s very discourteous. Grindr needs to do something about it!
Too many faceless horndogs, ignoring my prohibition of NSFW photos. It is harassment. Stop it!!!

Notifications - it would be nice to receive them again
After either an app update or iOS update, I no longer receive notifications of any sort.

Taps more than 3hours old are now hidden?!
What the hell? As if Grindr weren’t pretty shitty already (the free version), you have to go and make it worse? We can’t see taps more than 3 hours old, the grid doesn’t refresh on its own (if it loads at all), and you can’t even view a profile without getting an ad. You guys have just gotten greedy and it’s disgusting.

Still waiting for a feature that allows you to make yourself invisible to people you aren't interested in.
I keep getting messages from men old enough to be my dad and 10+ years younger than me. I have my search filtered to look no more than 2 years younger and no more than 6 years older. This has been asked for many, many times. There needs to be at the very least a checkbox to make yourself visible to everybody you've filtered out of your search so people don't end up wasting their time on someone they don't have a chance with. Way too many bugs
I am a paid subscriber. There are way too many bugs.
1. Filters don't show all the nearby people.
2. Removed the feature of viewing received photos in the chat.
3. Chat closes automatically and have to select again over and again
4. Bring back the Group chat option.
5. After a certain time ..can't view the received picture when we scroll the chat up4 votes -
Make location available to be always on. iPhone location is shared while using app but constantly prompts to update location.
I don’t want to have to hassle with constantly trying to update location or iPhone continuously prompting because location says it is out of date when it isn’t. Allow it to be an option to share location as “always on.”

Blocking the favorite feature.
I would like to block the favorite feature to maintain anonymous when I’m at a location I don’t want to be favorited so I could maintain anonymous and never be favorited.

Add Feature: Block contacts & Inclusive access
Adding a feature to block people from the phone contact list would significantly enhance user safety and comfort on Grindr, especially in LGBTQ-prohibited countries like Maldives with a small population. This would provide users with more control over their interactions and help them avoid potential risks or discomfort. Additionally, if the developer team considers implementing this idea, please allow access to all users, regardless of their paid or unpaid status.

Explore not working
Anytime I use the Explore function, and use a filter, the ppl suggested are hours and 50/100 kms away from the place I am looking for...and it says 'near...'.
So I use the 3 daily unlock for people far as hell.

Stop the turn on notifications
Its annoying I have it off because I let people use my phone all the time or show them pictures etc and maybe my gf and i don't want the general public knowing about our sex life especially living in a very conservative part of our state where people get beat for being gay or bi. Make Your App Work At A Basic Level
Blocking does not work. Reporting does nothing. Messages and taps don’t appear for minutes or hours, days after receiving the notification.
Since you ask for $40+/month, maybe you could make this app simply have normal, working functionality, like every other chat/messaging app on the planet. It can’t be that difficult to make messages actually appear, make blocking actually block the user you’d like to block, etc. Other apps do this successfully and never have any issues; maybe you could ask real developers how they build basic functions into an iOS app?

I get the ads pay for the app but the ads with the loud sound that suddenly blare no matter where you are is a HUGE infringement of privacy!

Should not sort distances or show distance closer than 1km
I have to constantly delete the app so people can not figure out where I am or live I see so many people when I'm in a parking lot that drive around as if checking how close they are to other people and you can tell because you see there distance get closer and closer anyone within a 1 km range should not be able to tell if they are next door or 5 blocks away this allows for to many things to go wrong on a privacy/security side very unsafe and hate the app because of this one thing.…

Tem gente que bloqueia quando vê foto, até aí tudo bem, mas bloquear depois do endereço é complicado. Como vou denunciar se a pessoa me bloqueou? Não tenho nem acesso mais. Entende?
