Ads Everywhere, Features Nowhere – Unfair Experience for Free Users
Free users are exposed to a large number of ads, which already generates revenue for Grindr. However, at the same time, many features are locked unless you pay—such as seeing who viewed your profile, who tapped you, or accessing more profiles.
This feels unfair. If ads are already making money for the app, then free users shouldn’t face so many limitations. Paying for extra features is understandable, but basic functionality shouldn’t feel like it’s behind a paywall and full of ads. It creates a frustrating experience that pushes users away rather than encouraging them to upgrade.

Why
Why would you change the favorites again?!? I hate the way it is. It’s practically useless. I can’t see if they have been on recently or nearby without having to go to their profile and looking like a creeper when I show up in their veiwed me.

Hide boosted profiles
I really don’t like watching boosted profiles around a specific location. It’s disturbing and confusing. Gets me mad to have to scroll down to find where the actual profiles start. Please give boosted profiles a symbol or give me the option to exclude them from my grid. I already pay for extra and this is exactly like adds. Thanks to the team.

Stop letting people tap album pictures
I pay for xtra. Every time i share my album with the “view once” limit, guys have started tapping the pics so they stay in chat and can continue to view them indefinitely—completely negating the point of “view once”. it’s ridiculous.

I suggest requesting registration verification also using valid identity documents that, by current laws, remain private and visible only to the manager of personal data, but at least we avoid that minors can register. it is dangerous...

I wish you reverted to the old block feature, I blocked a guy who won't leave me alone, he's following me on new a profile & I can't block him. I tried hiding him but I guess he favorited my profile because he keeps looking at my profile and I can't block him.

Fix Stroll to Beginning When Exiting Profile or Blocking
With Update 25.3.0 the app began scrolling to the beginning of a search when exiting, blocking a profile, etc.
It should return to where you left off.

More theme choices
The app currently offers only a yellow and black theme, which can be too bold and noticeable. This creates a problem for users who prefer a more neutral or discreet appearance, especially when using the app in public. Offering additional theme options, including a more subtle and professional one, would make the app more versatile and user-friendly for all users.

How about backing off the ads. You have ads playing while a pop up screen will start another ad.. one clears but other still going.. than.. while that finishes yet another ad will start... Then you get a notification for a msg that is YET ANOTHER AD!!You think this might be a little of an over kill? You do this to get people to go unlimited yet the price is beyond reasonable even just to rid the ads. Seriously someone up top needs a reality check as they clearly have never tried using this app of recent times

Stop being woke give us proper filters For your woke staff members have the option to fill in what they choose on their profile like they do now if they think they are being filtered out for some reason they just leave that thing blank in their profile If your company continues to try to be the woke police your base community will turn on you and move on to better. Sort yourselves out. You want to pander to the 1% of your client base be prepared for the backlash

Adding More Local Business Promotions for Community Events
Hey Grindr team,
I love how Grindr connects people, but I think it would be great to have more features supporting local businesses and community events. Many LGBTQ+ gatherings, pride events, and social meetups involve food vendors and catering services, and having a way to highlight these businesses could be beneficial.
