1. Scrolling to old chats

   When you scroll down to old chats and read them and then go out to try to delete it you are sent all the way back up to the newest chats. And then you have to scroll all the way back down again to delete the chat. It’s so annoying! Just keep it where you last scrolled too.
   Also I’d rather save my chats to my device! I just noticed that chats that are older than 1 year are all gone! And there are some people that I still like to keep in contact with and now it’s gone! Just let us save our own chats! If they are in a different city we have no way of getting back in touch with them now.

8. Do something about the fakes and scammers!

   There are a ridiculous amount of fake/spam profiles on Grindr! One of the most prevalent ones that I’ve seen are supposed dominant trans women looking for subs. They use pictures pulled from the internet, usually of popular trans performers (I’ve confirmed this through Google image searches, and even reaching out to one on Reddit), and the insist on people who contact them introduce themselves with their name, age, location, job, and other potentially identifying information. I have been scammed before (not on Grindr) where they threatened to release my personal photos and identifying information unless I sent them money. And it’s not just profiles posing as trans women, I’ve been solicited by profiles posing as men, too. Grindr needs to do SOMETHING to protect its users from potential fraud! Implement a profile verification mechanism, block devices that have been reported repeatedly (I’ve personally reported and blocked numerous profiles multiple times. How are they allowed to keep making new profiles?!). Jesus tap-dancing Christ, with all the highly intrusive ads and ridiculously high subscription costs, ya’ll make enough money to make this app safer for everyone, and it’s just irresponsible of you not to at this point!

13. Fix the goddamn BUGS

    FIX THE BUGS. EVERY TIME I GET A PICTURE SENT TO ME IT DOESNT SHOW UP IN CHAT. Not to mention the constant crashes, gradually less and less people viewable, blocks not sticking, and taps freezing the entire app. You guys suck, get rid of the entire platform and just make us all go to tinder only. Gonna be shunned to the bottom of the reviews but holy F has this app gone down hill since 2014. Gtfoh

    Grindr your app is way too expensive guys have stopped using and paying for Grindr because it's way to expensive and started using a another apps my subscription to grinder expires in August and if the grinder app is still this expensive I will be leaving Grindr myself grinders not worth the price you're asking it's called price gouging it's illegal there are no other dating apps and hook up apps this expensive and why would anyone pay this much for an app that has all kinds of glitches when there are updates grinder is the only app thats in the $100 range for one year

15. Keep the chats after someone blocks you.

    Don’t make the chats dissapear when someone blocks you so we atleast know why they did. Just keep the chats and say like « this user blocked you, you can no longer send messages » or something like that but please keep the chats.

16. Ethnicity filter. Its not racist. Its a personal sexual preference

    The Ethnicity filter should come back. At the end of the day we have a sexual preference we're not everyone's cup of tea. Taking it off has left me with a lot of time wasting because it's leaving me with humans of what I am NOT sexual attracted too taking it off is a way of forcing you to hook up of not attracted to. Isn't that rape. And no it not racist it's a personal preference. At the end of the day you don't see lions and tigers mating which are from the same cat family

    As an app originally intended and still almost exclusively used for and by men interested in other men, to now have scores of female profiles and transgender individuals who clearly don’t fit the crowd and stick out like ingrown toe nails, is both extremely obnoxious & moderately offensive, and also indicates that Grindr’s current owners aren’t taking their true base of customers seriously anymore, if they ever did. That they now allow people who aren’t gay or bi MEN to sign up at all is more proof of this. Furthermore, when the majority of profiles are faceless and stay that way, and refuse to share their face pics even in private chat, it makes one wonder why there’s suddenly so much fewer authentic, openly gay MEN on an app made for the same! Grindr didn’t used to be like this until it came under new ownership, and I for one don’t like how it’s become. Requiring face pictures also eliminates the issue of Gestapo pieces of garbage coming onto the app so they can collect pictures and information about specific individuals, and maybe even gay men generally, in some cases. Grindr’s ownership needs a wake up call, unless they plan to rebrand their business to target women, trannies, and fucking dirty cops (including dirtbag federal agents).
