We need the gender filter back!!!!!!!
It is near impossible to find anyone even when you pay for the Plus or the extra when you cannot filter out the gender. It is a ridiculous amount of trans or even females that pop up on my grid in my area and I can't get out of it. Even when I drive around downtown Chicago I'm getting people outside of my area I don't understand either the grid system or your algorithm or this app is literally a scam.

Limitations
Here’s an idea, STOP PUTTING NEW LIMITS EVERY SINGLE DAY TO GET THE PREMIUM, AND STOP PUTTING ADS EVERY 2 MINUTES IN IRDER TO GET PREMIUM, AND STOP RAISING THE PREMIUM PRICES MORE AND MORE, I KNOW INFLATION DONT BE HARD ON YALL LIKE THAT, YOU FUCK ASS MFERZ

Mandatory Gender Identity & Preference Filter
Dear Grindr Team,
I’d like to suggest a feature that would greatly improve the user experience — especially for people who have specific preferences.
Problem:
Currently, it’s difficult to filter out profiles that aren’t aligned with what I’m looking for. For instance, I’m not interested in meeting crossdressers or those who identify as women, but many such profiles show up in my area. Similarly, some users are looking exclusively for women, which doesn’t match my interests either.Suggested Solution:

Put the favorites back on their own tab. And get rid of the hide feature i want to block creeps regardless of if they have me favorited

Cant delete other guys album
Not able to remove the other people's album in albums section.Nothing works even after tapping remove button several times.

A way to disable "For You"
The "For You" feature is absolutely pointless. It is not helpful, well-implemented or wanted.

Ads with volume should not be turned on automatically
I understand needing ads on this app but please turn off the auto ads that turn on with volume. Unable to mute and it’s is extremely annoying. Can’t use the damn app discreetly now.

Ethnicity filter
Dear Grindr, we know you have a lot to offer us, but I ask for one thing that will help many! I really like people, but I have an ethnic preference, I like black guys and that makes me feel passionate; Could you add ethnicity to the filters? If the person is white, Asian, black, etc.
Please, I need black friends or a boyfriend, but all I see are white people! :(

Discrete App Notification
The Discrete App Icon is a good feature, but even if I use that, the notifications still say "Grindr". So that defeats the purpose of discretion.
Also, it would be good if I could customise the notification sounds.

Grindr not uploading pictures to the profile
Grindr is not loading photos to the profile correctly.
I have 5 different face pictures I use that I offer swap out for others if I take one I like. I’m uploading the photo, however when I submit after the thumbnail position selection, it takes me back to the photo grid and the image is not there. It’s just a gray box.9 votes -
Adds or subscription
You have so many adds on this thing it's barely possible to use it anymore without your phone baring out random adverts or the app freezing up after loading an add which makes you close it and open it again for another add.
If you're going to put so many adds on this subscription should just be for an add free versions and features should be unlocked as standard.
Choose a lane and go through features for money or cramming adverts down users throats doing both is clearly just trying to annoy users into giving you more money9 votes -
